Kim picked us up late in Seward, she was to be there at 11 am and it was 11:20 when I phoned and left a message with Renee, and then Kim appeared. The van was very dirty, I mean it was not good. From there we went and she got gas and her rockstar and 5 hour energy drinks. We thought at first she was just a bad driver, so we are like ok. Swerving a little here and there off the side of road several times. Hitting the rumble strips. But then she swerved onto oncoming traffic, the van crossed the center line of the 4 lane road going down a mountain and half the van was in the lane of oncoming cars, a big truck to be more precise. When we heard the rumble strips we all screamed and she woke up cause she had fallen asleep. She had DOZED off several times. We asked her if she was ok to pull over, no I am fine I am just a little nauseous. She continued to almost rear end several vehicles and was constantly scratching her legs and pinching herself to keep herself awake. We asked to get a picture when we got in the vehicle of the Kenai Fjords National Park sign, well she passed that up. So she stopped at another sign, so thank god, really thank god, because I honestly thought we were going to DIE this Saturday in this horrendous vehicle with this woman. We pulled over to get a picture. I did ask strangers for a ride because I was terrified to get back in this vehicle. At that point I refused to get back in that vehicle with her. She told us if we got back in she would give us back a $100, I told her no way. My husband drove us the rest of the way. I really felt she was going to kill us or severely injure us. That van could not have withstood a crash at 70 MPH. It was absolutely awful. I wish I wouldn't have paid her at the beginning because I wouldn't have paid her. I can't believe the boss lets her drive clients. I am a travel agent so I will make sure to leave my reviews. I am thanking god my family is here today. It was to say the least a traumatic event. I Have taken hundreds if not thousands of taxis I have never had this life threatening experience before! Please Please take the coach bus from Seward to Whittier, do not use this company!

He was a no show. Did not answer his phone. I called EVERY cab company in town at 5:30 to get a ride. NO ONE answered. We even tried lyft and Uber. We missed our fishing charter and are out 800+ dollars. not happy and would not recommend.

We took the Wilderness Express from Talkeetna to Denali as part of our Celebrity Alaskan cruise…read moretour. The Wilderness Express is privately owned but uses the Alaska Railway system. They were the last two cars attached to the train. Huge vista domes upstairs with a private dining room downstairs. And a no host bar. A very highly organized system where you are instructed to sit based on the order you boarded. There's no picking of seats. Later you're led downstairs to the dining room. Everyone on board went downstairs to eat including the three of us. White tablecloth and good food selection. There's a rail guide onboard who points out the various points of interest. Traversing 4 1/2 hours through the Final Frontier added to our overall cruise tour experience.

This was a culinary experience. My husband and I had a pasta w/ reindeer sausage, and my brother had the best prime rib he ever had in his life. This upset my mother quite a lot, since she used to hold that title. Wilderness Express is not available to everyone. It is a Royal Caribbean & Celebrity Cruise Line exclusive thing. So if you want to experience it, it must be part of your overall cruise tour package. Just another thing to consider when choosing which cruise line to go with for your Alaska vacation.

The snow-capped mountains were incomprehensibly wondrous! The massive blue glaciers were numerous! The oceans, streams, rivers, and lakes were plentiful. We were anble to see sea otters, stellar sea lions, Dall's porpoises, puffins, and a juvenile eagle, among several other types of birds. All of that being said, my most cherished memory was seeing the humpback whales spouting and playfully rolling around in the seawater! It, unfortunately, is STILL my dream to see a whale breaching the water! After gaining the knowledge bestowed upon us by this crew and before returning back to the harbor, we were served lunch. Stale tortilla chips & salsa were served alongside a re-heated burrito. Being pre-heated and then reheated, the burritos were not at all appetizing! The salsa did not help the tortillas at all, either. The crew aboard this boat was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and very patient with this particular group of passengers, many of whom ended up hanging over the sides of the boat while seasickness. I definitely recommend this tour and hope you get this particular crew (Captain Greg, Senior Bobbi, Clint, and Max.)

The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, with spectacular glaciers, incredible wildlife, and stunning coastal views everywhere we looked. Our captain was amazing! She did a fantastic job pointing out every scenic highlight and all the sea animals we encountered along the way. Her knowledge and enthusiasm made the trip even more enjoyable. A special shout-out to the two young servers on board. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the cruise. When we reached the glacier, they even helped us take photos while we held pieces of glacier ice, creating memories we'll treasure forever. I would 100% recommend this cruise--as long as you don't get seasick. The water can get rough. Unfortunately, even though our daughter took Dramamine before boarding, she still became seasick and couldn't fully enjoy the experience. If you're prone to motion sickness, consider talking to your doctor about stronger prevention options before your trip. Overall, this cruise is an absolute must-do in Seward. Dress warmly, bring a good camera, and prepare for one of the most unforgettable experiences Alaska has to offer!
