At 11:11 pm (I checked the time because this was like magic), shortly after the band went on (I think a band was there! Sounded like a live band but I couldn't see them! They kept talking to the crowd), the dance floor became flooded with coupes dancing together and dancing impressively well. It was like being in a musical. It was really fun to watch. I think one of my biggest qualms is that they were all warm - not just room temp but like notably warm. I probably would have liked them a lot more had they been a little chilled. Maybe mezcal isn't intended to be cool, so I'm fully acknowledging that this might just be my preference, but I found them nearly unpalatable because of it. They sell the mezcal by the bottle as well but I didn't end up buying anything.
