After a garage fire it took them over 4 months to partially pay my claim as they "investigated" me. My adjuster, Denise Mendoza, on two separate occasions told me she could not provide me a copy of my sworn statement prompting me to seek legal council. Within days of hiring council, they were able to produce that statement. Turns out she simply cannot be trusted. I had a sizeable firearm collection costing in the $100k range. I have yet to deal with anyone at the insurance company who could distinguish between a $139 hi point and a $4000 colt 1911. The amount they paid for my firearms was vastly lower than their value and true replacement cost. They even acquired some of their prices from businesses where it would be a felony for me to try and do business with in accordance with state and federal firearm laws. . My item inventory also only contained about 60% of the items inventoried, shorting me 10s of thousands of dollars. They have turned this into a battle to be fairly paid in accordance with my policy. I believe this is a blatant attempt by them to act in bad faith. They're probably great if you never have a claim, but when you need the insurance you're paying for they simply do not come through.
