I've been going to Bryan Ellinger for the past eight years, and he has consistently been my go-to person for anything related to taxes or financial questions. Bryan is extremely knowledgeable, down to earth, and always takes the time to explain things in a way that actually makes sense. What I appreciate most is that he provides honest guidance and helps you understand the best path forward rather than just rushing through the process. Whether it's tax preparation or general financial questions, he's always willing to help and point you in the right direction. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, knowledgeable, and easy to work with, I highly recommend Bryan. He's been a huge help to me over the years. read more

We were recommended Los Alamitos tax services by a co-worker and can't recommend their services highly enough. Specifically Yaron Telem who has done our taxes the past two years. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and just overall very client-centered. He turned something that I dread every year into a painless process that has maximized our refund and ensured that we were being treated fairly by the tax system. Fair, trustworthy and overall amazing! I can't forsee getting my taxes done by any other group let alone person. Thank you YARON! read more

He was thorough, patient and attentive to our specific needs. He took the time to educate us and guide us on how to better prepare going forward. He just went above and beyond in every way. His experience and expertise produced excellent results for us and through the entire interaction, he was always kind and accommodating. Doesn't get better! We found our guy. Bryan was very helpful. He knows what he's doing He is our savior with Uncle Sam. Thank you so much.

They are no longer accepting new clients. I wished they admitted instead of telling me that I would have to wait for Neil the end of June that they may accept new clients. read more

I can't say enough great things about my Tax guy, Bryan E. and the whole staff here at Alamitos Tax Services. I came to Bryan, referred to, from a friend and now, I find myself doing the referring because Bryan and the team have helped me not only prioritize my filings, but use the every appropriate write off in my business. To say that he's saved me money, is an understatement. Especially when I had left a few years back to try other "referrals"..! It's not even close as to what Bryan was not only willing to do, but willing to explain to us what we were able to use in our filings for my business, every step of the way.. That's how you retain business and I am sorry that I left. It's like they say, "you get what you pay for".. And although I saved a few bucks by trying other services, it ended up costing me even more in the long run. So Lesson Learned..!! Bryan was also able to help me in a tax blunder from a year before and get me a refund by finding mistakes within my previous filings. Something he didn't have to do, but by asking some questions, realized something wasn't ADDING UP..! Lol.. So he found the problem, fixed it and got me some money back after I had already accepted defeat and ponied up the money and paid. Thank you to everyone at the Alamitos Tax Services office.. From setting up appointments to even getting any additional information, they make it happen. You know I'll be back. See you next year..! John A. read more

I can't say enough great things about Bryan. He's been doing my taxes the last few years. I hate doing taxes, finances... basically math, and Bryan helps alleviate all of that stress. Not only is he kind and patient, he helps teach and educate on taxes and future saving opportunities, as well. I've referred 3 people to Bryan and will continue to do more. read more

I would not use Alamitos Tax Services unless you want your taxes completely mismanaged and to lose out on a significant amount of money that should be yours. Bryan and his team proved to be completely incompetent in handling my taxes which led to me losing out on over $5,000. He did not follow clear and specific directions I gave him to handle my taxes even though he agreed to the follow the directions and that they were the best course to take. They also had me pay state fees to California that I did not owe. Bryan blamed it on someone at his office acting rogue in filing my returns way before they were suppose to and showed a complete lack of knowledge in how California applies fees and taxes to LLCs and Corps. Even though Bryan and his team messed up multiple times in handling my tax returns and cost me over $5,000, they wholeheartedly showed no remorse or accountability for their errant actions. They did not even say sorry or offer some sort of compensation to make the situation better (e.g., reducing tax prep fees) when acknowledging they had made mistakes. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Alamitos Tax Services! read more

We've been a client of Bryan's for a few years. He's extremely knowledgeable and gives very through and detailed explanations to any question or concern you have. When we first went to him, he had to "fix" our previous accountant's errors. Bryan's customer service is top notch! He responds quickly and is available throughout the year for general questions-not only during tax season. Thanks again, Bryan for always having our best interest. read more

Alamitos Tax Services - Tax Services Near Me - Los Alamitos, California

Let me start off by saying if this is your tax office and you're satisfied with them, consider yourself lucky. I would discourage anyone from patronizing Los Alamitos Tax office on Katella. I've never experienced a more incompetent, unprofessional staff and owner in my life in regards to my 2021 taxes. Long story short. So on March 14, 2021, I called the office as a new client and asked if they were taking new clients and if they could assist me and my husband with our 2021 taxes and was told yes. (I was emailed a new client form on 3/15/22). By March 24, 2022 they had all the necessary paperwork to complete our taxes. After numerous phones, emails, and drop-ins, not once did we receive a return message in regards to the status of our taxes. I actually called on April 16, 2022 and the receptionist said they were on vacation for a week since tax season was over. (Still no one knew the status of our taxes). Finally on April 22, 2022 I had to leave work early just so I could get to the office b4 the receptionist left. I asked for all my documents back and the receptionist after apologizing profusely (which I got the feeling she has to do often) found them in an office and untouched gave them to me and shockingly no work had been done. All the while the owner Yaron (I think his name is) never bothered to come out of his office to see why they were losing a client and who dropped the ball. Yaron, if this is your business, remember 1 bad review can drive away 30 customers and I will repost every year at tax time. (The 1 star rating is only because Yelp won't let you post without at least giving a rating of 1 star) read more

I know, I know how much could one say about a number cruncher, right... Let me start by saying, I am wiser today, then last year, 'thanks" to Bryan. Last year I had my taxes done by some wack-a-do that got me in such a mess, I honestly didn't know where to turn. One place I called, the guy (accountant) spoke to me as if I was 5. Yes, i should have paid more attention to my taxes at the time, but i didn't, so lets move on, after asking me a few questions as if he was my father, and reprimanding me I finally hung up on the guy! Sitting there honestly not knowing what I would do, a friend of mine told me to call Alamitos Tax service. I called and spoke to the gal at the front desk, whom you could hear the smile on that other end of the phone. Taking my information I was told "Bryan" would be emailing me and calling. A few days later, Bryan and I had a conversation, that opened my eyes on what had been filed the prior year, The best part of the conversation..... there wasn't any talking down to me, Bryan was full of great information and "lets get the job done right, so next year you don't have to deal with this again" attitude! It was so appreciated on my end. Bryan walked me through step by step, and what he was doing. Bryan, is so professional and informed on ALL tax codes while preparing my taxes (from start to finish). I am so thrilled to have found him/Alamitos Tax service, I can't even tell you (wait I just did) how great he is, he's just sooo knowledgeable when it comes to preparing taxes. He now has a new customer for life! Thank you for all you did Bryan. HIGHLY recommend! read more

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT BRYAN! My husband and I had been going to an "off the book" guy for the past couple of years but due to some real estate stuff I wanted to go to a professional place this year. Bryan was so highly recommended on here that I reached out to make an appt. We were warmly greeted by the reception while we waited and Bryan spent so much time with us and was very personable. He identified some major red flags in our previous years returns for us to be aware of and fully explained answers to my many many questions. I highly suggest you check out this place and meet with Bryan. I felt so relieved leaving his office and had a lot of laughs over the wonky tax return we had done last year. read more
