If it hadn't been storming, I think it would have been nearly as fast to walk, but I valiantly fought traffic for 3/10 of a mile and came home with victuals for the family unit. It was a typical supermarket, with plenty of choices for the modern post service era shopper. I thought the bakery lacked imagination in its products, which was offset by a rambunctious deli where my dinner awaited me. Chicken soup for the wife's dicey tummy, fried chicken for me and - hey, how did that Milky Way bar get into my grocery bag?

Dry goods at the entrance leading to produce and then dairy coolers along the back with deli and then meats. We were going to go to Wendy's and decided to stop here instead. It was super easy to pick up a nice loaf of bread, some sliced cheese, some sliced turkey and even a couple of tomatoes. So now it's not just today's lunch, but tomorrow's lunch too! Easy, healthy and less expensive. Yes, ALDI gets a lot of its low cost from the shopping trolley thing and you need to bring your own bags or reuse theirs. And yes, you need to unload your groceries onto the belt properly so that the more delicate items are scanned last. That's on you. The store was a little bit less tidy than others and there was a queue at the register when they did not open a second. So yeah, it was good not great today. Walmart of Lumberton why are you trying to kill everyone in your store? Now, I may have stated this before, I pride myself on having a healthy attitude towards personal fitness so like a Christmas ninja I avoided all of the hundreds of physical death traps throughout the store (it should be noted I had to walk through all areas of the store to find anything. Moisturiser? No that's not in the toiletries section, no it's next to the NFL collectables and wrapping paper...of course) and made it to the cashier! Haha! Pox on you Walmart! I beat your monstrous maze! But wait! No! I have to get through the cashier gate keeper, next challenge! Find a way of waking this individual up! No way man, I win this one Walmart and sleeping Beauty opens her eyes.... The final battle. The bathroom. My god had I known what awaited me in there I would have just got diapers and gritted my teeth to Florida but I couldn't risk my life again going through this stores "Running man" / "hunger games" human challenge experiment. Look it's fine, I made it out alive and hopefully disease free....I count myself one of the lucky ones. In a rare holiday season offering of good will, the second star is because I did get everything I needed, but only because I'm petrified of failure.

We finally got the mannequins, digital product features, furniture staging! Most products are readily available and usually stocked. Some associates are nice and friendly like family. There's been safety/violence incidents and police presence needed. Parking lot security as well. Electric vehicle charging near garden and grocery pick-up end. He also sells chicken, large turkey legs and other meats too. He has a wall of spices to choice from and other speciality items throughout the store. It's a small business but he sells the essentials which is all you need. No more driving to Fayetteville for speciality items when we have a store here in the area. Check him out and add some new flavors to your palate.
