Our lot rents, even though they increase yearly on average 20.00, we are still considered in the lower end for lot rent fees. I do wish our lot rent included water and even lawn service as many other mobile home communities include with lot rent, but their lot rent is more expensive too. I also was very disappointed in learning our trash facility is not accessible to residents and no place to trash large items, furniture, etc. Most residents are friendly and nice. There is a good amount of activities you can join as well. Would love to see management/owners sit down with residents on a regular basis to help resolve some issues residents have. Fortunately, our son stood up and accepted the responsibility. He works at night so he can help me during the day. We were told that we needed a note from the dr stating the reason he would need to live with us. We secured the letter and filled out our application. They told us at that time that it would cost an extra $150 for our son in Lot Lease. We couldn't figure out why, but agreed to pay the extra money. It took two weeks for our application to be denied. They said if he was at work he was not a full time caretaker. Also, because of his age, 31, he could not stay in the park. We asked if we could appeal and were told no. The owners of the home now have to start over. We have to find a home because our loan will expire. If you are looking for a mobile home park, look elsewhere. There are so many homes for sale in the park, and I am beginning to see why.
