A few Ashley pieces but mostly Lazy Boy pieces being happy for yrs even with our master bedroom mattress but recently we bought a vitality pillow top matress. I wanted pillowtop as soft as possible due to 3 bulging disks. They delivered a Firm vitality pillowtop so, so far I'm still sleeping on my full size mattress in the bedroom that shares a wall with my snoring husband in the master bedroom. He sounds like a chainsaw and wonders why I am sleepy in daytime. As many thousands as we've spent at Long's I hope they will make this right or at least let me return towards an Englander and adjustable electric base. Otherwise our business will go elsewhere.

The day of delivery my sent me a picture of a bunch of boxes that they set in the rooms . All of the furniture had to be unboxed and assembled which we were not told at the time of purchase or would have definitely not bought it . I called up set and complained. when I got home and spent 4 hours unboxing and putting furniture together we realized that they had shorted us a set of Chest of drawers for the main guest room . We called and they said they were going to to refund of delivery fee and bring us the missing furniture the next Monday morning. They refunded the $450 delivery but never brought the missing furniture that I paid over $600 for and now reuse to give us what we paid for . They are not only misleading customers they are now stealing for us .

The owner of the store is really nice and an Alabama football fan (Roll Tide!). The place is broken down into a main room, three smaller rooms and a back wall (behind the main room). The main room is more related to furniture type stuff and larger home decor items. My main interest was the back room to the left side. Filled with vinyl, cd's and cassette tapes. Stuff spanning several decades. Some stuff, to be totally honest, probably not that east to come across original editions. Prices might seem a little high, but if you purchase three vinyl records you get 50% off....so there are some good deals to be had. Also, there is a ton of vintage stereo equipment to check out. All in all not a bad place, check them out if you're in the area.

Then another coworker came out to help me. Her name was Shae. While she was helping me the manager (Carol) came out and started screaming at her (Shae) about putting up the first aid kit. In my experience I didn't feel like that was appropriate to be screaming at an employee for not putting up a first aid kit especially in front of customers. Shae was very helpful. The management is not what I would expect it to be. I went back in there a week ago and asked for Shae and the Salesman said she is no longer there. I told him that he lost my business. I would not buy anything from them for the way she treated Shae that day. That the only reason I came back was because of Shae not for them. Told him unless Shae was working there I will not be back. The worst customer service I have ever seen. Especially having employees (Ashley) sit around all day and not working. Here is the second time I have come in and Ashley being rude and playing with her child at the table once again.

Beware of The Cottage…read more I purchased a Jamison mattress and box springs on 12-19-14. They were delivered on Friday, 1-16-15. I purchased new bedding over the weekend and while putting them on the bed, I noticed a place that looked like the quilt had been picked, like a plume of thread was sticking up from the quilt. Looking closer, I saw where the stitching at the base of the plume was out of line with the other common pattern of stitching. I took a picture of the plume area and showed it to the owner of The Cottage and he agreed that it indeed looked picked. His comment was "you wouldn't believe some of the stuff that I get in here". He offered to come out and look at it and did on Tuesday, 1-20-15. I also had a concern about how quick the bed was showing where I slept and he said that was normal. This is the part that chaps me. He said my concern for the picked area was that of a LADY. A LADY??!!! I saw the plume area as a manufacturing defect but it's obvious he didn't. Rather than offering to get me a new mattress, he offered me my money back and said I could go elsewhere and buy a mattress. I had researched other mattresses and decided on a Jamison. He was the only retailer close by that sold them. The more the LADY in me thought about it, the more SHE got pissed. SHE made me contact the factory where the mattress was built, where I spoke with Kim George (in the warranty dept.). Ms. George told me to send her pictures of the manufactures defect and she would forward them to my area sales rep Steve Mehaffey. This part really pissed off the LADY. Mr. Mehaffey contacted the owner of The Cottage and the owner said that the "defect could have happened in the customers home after delivery." Mehaffey concluded that "the bed has been inspected and it is my opinion that no warranty claim exist." I sent Ms. George several follow up emails expressing my displeasure and disappointment in the conclusion of Mr. Mchaffey, only to find out that Ms. George had not read my emails and had deleted them. The insinuating statement from the owner of The Cottage put the LADY over the edge. I ended up talking to the plant supervisor Carlos Morallis, and after sending him pictures, he and his supervisor concluded that I should be sent a new mattress. That was on 3-20-15. The mattress was built the following week and I received it on 4-3-15. Bottom line.....The mattress arrived at The Cottage with a manufacturers defect that the owner failed to acknowledge during his "in home" inspection. He later insinuated that the defect was caused by me after delivery. A piss poor way to treat a customer. Beware of anything you buy from this business. I have attempted to add a photo of the plume but not sure if it worked.

Even Brand-new Donated furniture Should be Checked out before buying.. I bought a couch, looked really nice..Very clean..100.00 Found out 2 weeks later it was covered in Bed bugs!!!!!!!! Went to the Dump!!!

New addition to the antique/boutique area of Attala…read more I like that they aren't overly crammed in here. The stuff is spread out and you can see everything really easily. They have a nice selection of home decor and look to have stuff that is seasonal (currently have Halloween/Fall themed stuff). Prices were good and selection was really good as well. Some things that would probably be considered vintage and some things that were new. They had a nice selection of women's clothing and my wife found a couple things that she really liked. Prices were pretty reasonable as well. Nice addition to this part of town, I'd recommend them!
