Stumbled upon this place during our stay in Trapani. We tried to go in but the door was locked so we walked away and heard the door open. Apparently there is a buzzer to ring to let you in, lol!We were seated by Daniel, one of the owners. The inside is very cozy. The kind of place that you want to sit down for a while, drink a bottle of wine and let the time pass. Of course, you are eating while doing this! Daniel assisted us with ordering. We ordered some stuff off the menu but we also ordered a few house specialties. We had some bread, also with a local specialty, Trapani salt. WOW! The fish appetizer was a great way to start. So many different ways to do tuna. Tuna is the main fish in Trapani and it's in everything! Smoked tuna, raw tuna, raw shrimp (yes, I tasted a small piece, my husband LOVED them). Every fish was cooked to perfection and delicious. We got the specialty pasta for our main meal and it was delicious. Huge pasta noodles, sauteed swordfish and a light almost creamy tomato sauce. The pasta was al dente, just perfect! We had a bottle of prosecco during our meal, and spoke with Daniel, and had a nice time. We were there so long, the place was closing. So the chefs, Marco and Manuela came out and all 5 of us enjoyed some Marsala wine! We had so many laughs. It was a truly wonderful dining experience. So much so, we went back the next night! And again, we had a wonderful time. If you are in Trapani, please come eat here. You will enjoy the food and atmosphere and staff tremendously. read more
