There were two pools, turkish baths, saunas, etc. Received a great couples massage. The staff was wonderful. They did everything to make it as relaxing as possible. Wanting to get away from the tourist hive of Venice, we took a train randomly to Bassona del…read moreGrappa. It is a beautiful town, but most places are closed until 3:30. We took a cab further North to see a mountain town, and stumbled upon Pove. This town is mostly residential, but there are a couple of gems to be found like this one, which is very new and charming. The seating area is surrounded by glass that allows you to look out into the mountains, providing a perfect setting for an afternoon. We grabbed some sparkling rosé and some fresh gelato and took in the relaxing scene. The hostess and owner was very kind, giving us an idea of Pove and explaining the culture and businesses nearby. Overall, this is a perfect destination to getaway from the tourism and business of Venice. I'd recommend this spot if you have any interest checking out the Grappa region.
