Once we entered the very nice lady at the front desk immediately put down her phone and greeted us. She asked an employee to the left side of the front desk to help us closest to the entry door ( acne scars) looked up from his phone as said " I have an appointment". She then looked at the other guy behind him sitting on his phone (bald) and said "ask so and so". Could not hear who he mentioned. Then the nice lady walked back to another office (was rejected) and then came back to the front desk to tell us that she will find someone to help me. I've never experienced this from a customer service industry led business. Being in the customer service industry I would have greeted the customer even if I had an appointment and let them know I will help them even if I have an appointment and bounce back and forth To gladly help with whatever they needed. Where do I start? I went in for a lease buyout and clearly provided my numbers and the price range I wanted. My credit was strong, and this should have been an easy transaction. I was even comfortable purchasing GAP and only asked for one thing: an itemized breakdown of all charges. First, I want to recognize Chris Lynch. Thee salesperson, who was excellent. He listened, understood what I wanted, and worked hard to get the deal done. I left excited to celebrate with my wife because we had purchased a car we loved. Unfortunately, that excitement changed when I got home and reviewed the paperwork. I noticed that the itemized numbers didn't add up, the GAP coverage wasn't what I understood it to be, and some charges on the final contract weren't included in the itemization I had been given. I returned to discuss this with the finance manager, Jefferson Morgan. Rather than simply reviewing the paperwork and explaining the discrepancies, he became defensive and irate. At one point, he told me: "I provide a different printout with a different total from what you signed because 99% of my customers get confused by the stamps and document charge." Apparently, I'm the 1%. The irony is that I specifically asked for a detailed itemization because I wanted to understand exactly what I was paying for. He also referred to the product as "GAP+" and said the products couldn't be sold separately. Yet GAP was shown separately on the itemization while another product appeared to be included in the payoff amount. The issue wasn't simply the total price--it was how the charges and products were presented, which I found extremely confusing and, frankly, deceptive. When I questioned him about the coverage, I had to ask the same basic question several different ways before getting a clear explanation. He eventually offered to provide me with a copy of what I actually signed, saying they do things this way because they've "been burned before." That explanation didn't make sense to me, especially since the lender had already funded the transaction. I ultimately cancelled the GAP purchase. Since it was Sunday, I asked Jefferson to confirm the cancellation. His response was that he wasn't going to call me and that I could email him instead. His attitude and lack of professionalism were extremely disappointing. I also spoke with a sales manager, James, who listened to my concerns, apologized, and said he would call me to confirm the cancellation. Unfortunately, I never received that call. I will now be refinancing the loan through a credit union offering me an APR about 1% lower. Honestly, even if they had offered the same rate, I would still refinance. After this experience, I have no interest in allowing Jefferson to earn a commission on this transaction. My advice: review every document carefully before leaving this dealership and make sure the itemized numbers match what you actually sign. Don't assume they do. If you're buying here, ask for Chris was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely helpful. As for Jefferson Morgan and the finance department, my experience was unfortunately the opposite. Firstly, let me state that Eric gave or showed us any pressure. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave his honest truth about what we should be looking for. Let me also say that all the cars at the dealership, especially the one we looked at is extremely clean. Even the used cars looked brand new. After letting us test drive and go over all the details, he let us go home and think about it. We told him the range we were looking at and him and his team did magic. Ironically my father worked for them so some of my fondest childhood memories are playing in the cars as a little boy while my dad worked so it's unfortunate I have to leave these reviews. Communication between kyle service manager and tim operations manager were not great as they had to step in for their newer service advisor mikey downs as he was not communicating as well. They had my vehicle for 8 days to change a water pump, oil change and battery install. They also overcharged me for a battery that on their website and fords website is quoted at 199.00 but tim the ops manager said we don't sell those batteries and charged me 249.00. Yet the exact battery on the promotion for 199.00 is the one installed in my truck. We all know dealerships are known to do some shady things and unfortunately I've worked for a few dealers so I know what goes on behind the scene but blatant sales misconduct is unacceptable and keeping me out of vehicle for 8 days to change a water pump is also unacceptable given I had already made an appt so they knew I was coming in for a noise to be diagnosed. If they were that backed up I could have come back another week. All of this is unfortunate as I have bought two vehicles from al packer and done all my service here but that is done with. I purchased a 2024 Ford Bronco back in August of 2024 from Al Packer. I've been diligent on keeping up with the routine servicing and had no issues until recently. Two weeks ago I opened my car door to find the seat panel loose and immediately called Al Packet to take a look at it. I brought it in April 15, 2026 and was told that it being under 3 year warranty and under 25k miles it should be covered. After being charged $199.00 for a diagnostic (which it didn't need, the car runs with no issues) I was told that Ford would not cover the repair. I asked why not? It's a defect, not wear and tear or from an accident. I was told it's from Ford directly. Paid the $199.00 and took it back home for answers. My car extended warranty company, Ford corporate and Al Packer had me spend the next several days with phone calls, emails and texts passing the blame to the next person to contact. The blatant passing of the buck and lack of customer service is absolutely unacceptable. I am at the point where I will take the loss, pay for the repairs and trade in for another brand. Never again deal with Al Packet Ford, and certainly don't be a fool to believe that warranties will be there in your time of need. I would avoid any Al Packer location for service. My daughter brought her car there for an extended warranty issue on a Brake Booster, From the moment she walked in they tried to tell her even though it's warrantied and needed to be changed, it was probably not the part that was giving her the problem. Well, they changed the part, and yes she still had the same issue, but she still heard the noise she was hearing before they changed the part, the dealer did not hear the noise, in fact she brought it to both Al Packer locations and no one could hear the noise. The 2nd Al Packer was nice enough to do a free diagnostic (thank you), and determined it was the ABS unit that was the issue (spoiler alert, no it wasn't!!, more below). I told her to just bring it to an independent mechanic, 4 Mechanics looked at it and test drove it, and every single one of them heard the same noise my daughter was hearing. She called Al Packer, I called Al Packer, we called FORD directly, you would think FORD would be helpful being it's their name on the car, nope, they're helpless & frankly hopeless. Ashley who works in service at Al Packer was no help, told us we should talk to Phil the service manager, I called no less than 5 times & left 2 or 3 messages for Phil, NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. So, we ended up taking the car back to the 3rd party Mechanic who had no issue working on the car. Here is the kicker, AL PACKER did the warranty work changing the BRAKE BOOSTER, GUESS WHAT AL PACKER FORD, YOU FORGOT TO PUT THE SEAL BACK ON THE MASTER CYLINDER. SO, That's why everyone else was hearing the noise my daughter heard, except of course for AL PACKER FORD. It ended up costing us $800 to change the Master Cylinder, and it's possible that if AL PACKER FORD had put the seal in we wouldn't of had to do anything, the BRAKE BOOSTER was probably the real issue. SO, leaving out the Master Cylinder Seal can potentially damage your MASTER CYLINDER according to the research I've done, we will never know now because they were derelict in their services!! This is at the very least Negligence on the part of Al Packer Ford Service, the brakes on the car could have failed and caused harm to not only my daughter but to others, to give back a car to a young lady with her brakes in that state is extremely concerning and they should be ashamed of themselves. The mechanic at the 2nd Al Packer Ford didn't even want to test drive it on the streets, he did it in the back of the service area. They should also be investigated, how can FORD SERVICE mechanics not know what a leaking Brake Booster sounds like?????? Are your Mechanics certified? Is the service manager Phil a former/current certified mechanic to be in charge of servicing cars with integrity?? What good is a DIAGNOSTIC if it diagnoses the wrong problem/part?? You are charging people for a Diagnostic even though it's not accurate? AL Packer Ford should reimburse us for the money spent to fix the problem they more than likey actually caused, that would be a start! read more

Here we go again. I had a horrible experience with the service department two years ago. I swore I'd never step foot in this dealership again. Out of convenience and second chances. I scheduled service here once again. I had an appointment for 7:00 AM. I was here before then but didn't get checked in until 7:08 AM. No biggie. I look around and see the place is full of service writers and techs/mechanics. I'm thinking great. It's just an oil change. I should be out of here in 30 minutes. (I had also requested a few recalls be addressed but was quoted 5 hours for that, so I declined) I was advised the oil change would take an hour and a half! Over two hours later, I was told I was ready to go. I had requested a complete synthetic oil change. Online, this was to be $89. My bill had come out to $124.80. No extra services were requested or offered, but I was already very late for work, rather than have the overage explained to me. I just paid and left. As I am walking to my car, I inspect the invoice. I notice that my complete synthetic oil change includes a tire rotation and brake inspection. As I begin to reflect on that, I think it's odd that no one asked me about my wheel lock key, but I assume, as I was once a mechanic, that the tech had his own wheel lock key arsenal. I get to my car and notice there is no interruption in the brake dust on any of the wheels. So, my wheels were never pulled for a brake inspection, but the tech passed the brakes with flying colors. Also, this means that the tires could not have been rotated. So not only did I lose almost 2 1/2 hours at the dealership for JUST and oil change that I could have had done at any roadside quick lube in 20 minutes and for the advertised $89, there is no other way to dispute anything except that the tech is dishonest by providing measurements of my brake pads when the wheels were never removed, and that the dealership's service department stole money from me in the form of not performing at least two of the services that were paid for. Took my truck 2017 F250 for a diagnostic to fix and oil leak. I have done extensive research on the issue, and I am extremely mechanically inclined but I do not have a lift or time to work on the truck myself. I have two other quotes already to do the work but since this is the closest Ford dealer to me I thought I would have them do the work. I paid them 200$ diagnostic fee, and had to uber home and back wasting hours of my time. So they give me a price to do the work and it's triple the other two estimates I have and they lie to me and tell me blah blah needs to be done, like I am a complete fool, very offensive. My husband and I have been talking about getting a pick up for about 2 years. But he really loved his Mustang GT convertible. On Sunday we were driving home from a nice lunch on the water in Jupiter and I just randomly said to hubby "Do we pass any Ford dealers on the way home?" I said lets just go look at pick ups. It wont hurt and its a rainy day anyway. So we got off the turnpike on Southern and headed here. We parked the car and as soon as we pulled in I saw this gorgeous pick up truck. It was lifted, had nice wheels, special leather interior, and a bunch of special stuff that no other truck usually has. It was called a "Rocky Ridge" edition. I walked up to it slightly drooling then saw the price tag!! It was not for sale at that time according to a sticker on it. So we started at one end and and was looking at all their trucks. They kind of all were the same and after seeing the Rocky Ridge one the others were boring. After about 10-15 minutes a salesman came out Brandon. He asked if he could help but was not pushy like car salesmen have a tendency to be. I told him why would he park such a gorgeous truck for all to see right up there in front of their door and it not be for sale. He said hold on and went inside and came back out and it was for sale. There was something they needed to do to the truck, which had been done and now for sale. Still out of our price range, we sadly walked away. As we were pulling out of the parking lot I said to hubby "since we are already here, lets see how much they will give us for our car trade in" hubby was reluctant but so glad he did. We had a number in our head and that is the EXACT number they came back with. Brandon talked with the manager Clyde and put together a quote for us with the rebates, discounts, trade in etc it was now more affordable. We wanted to sleep on it and did not want to make a decision right there and Brandon handed us his business card and thanked us for coming in. That night we went home and made the numbers work, I texted him and told him we would be there tomorrow around noon and asked if there was anything more they could do on price. Clyde called me and was able to work a little more magic on the vehicle price. We showed up, test drove the vehicle did some paperwork, sat with financing and was out the door in under 2 hours with our brand new truck!!! However the service department is a total disgrace. My service advisor, Andrae Wright trys telling me all brand new vehicles make that noise,this is after they had it a week and did absolutely nothing but try n make a fool out of me. I get the service manager involved, as we only had to drive a couple inches to hit brake and clearly know something is wrong. Goes back to their technician for 3 more days. For almost a year now, I have been receiving letters from Ford saying I have a recall on my car for the "rear toe link". I have taken the car to Al Packer Ford more than once now and talked to Ashley Moore, and he constantly says the car was checked, everything is fine but Ford doesn't even have that part to be able to do the recall and exchange it. Now I needed 2 new tires (a little over a year we bought all new ones) because the rear tires are abnormally worn off. I took them to Tires Plus and they couldn't align the car because...guess what?! The REAR TOE LINK!!!! It needs to be replaced...I call this Al Packer location on Southern Blvd (as I've done several times for different issues this one included) and as usual, no one is available. I left messages with Ashley Moore and Bill (the service manager.) Even the phone attendant told me I must fix a recall at Ford only. I'm still wondering when Ford will take any accountability on fixing the issue because mailing letters do not solve the problem. I worry about my safety and my children as we rely on this car to live, and it is worrisome a Ford dealership tells you it is safe to drive your car when it actually isn't. After my husband made a phone call to Al Packer Ford, off WEST Southern Blvd, to make sure the truck he was interested in buying was on their lot, prior to making the drive from EAST Boca Raton. My husband was told they indeed had the truck, a few to choose from, the Ford F150 King Ranch. Although, the exact color wasn't available he wanted, he was told other colors were on the lot. So, we took a drive to see the trucks they had and for my husband to test drive one. Once we arrived, we were greeted by a nice gentleman and my husband told him he has phoned earlier for the F150 King Ranch Truck. He had us jump into his golf cart to show us what was available. My husband and I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, because the lot in the back was EMPTY! A few used cars, that was it. Make, the salesman quickly tapped danced his way out of, what I would think was embarrassing for him, by saying, "All the King Ranch Trucks must have sold. Within the 2 hours since my husband called? Highly doubt it. Make told us there was another truck coming in soon and if we leave a $5000 deposit, he would flag as sold and call us when the truck comes in. Approximately 2 weeks later, my husband called Myke, asking the status of the truck. He was told that only one truck arrived in and an employee purchased it. The next day, I phoned and spoke to the sales manager, who must have thought it was pretty funny, because he laughed at me and said these things happen. NO THEY DON'T JUST HAPPEN. As a customer who was told to secure our purchase with a $5000 check, which was cashed,... the customer should come first. It then took nearly two weeks to get our money back! I have a 2021 Lincoln Nautilus. I received notice that a customer service recall was issued and to bring it by the dealership. Made an appointment two weeks in advance. Arrived on time and the car was whisked away. Two hours later they said their computer couldn't do the download of the software update needed. Gave me a loaner and sent me on my way. The car has not moved for four days now. Zero updates from my service writer. I have had to call and leave messages to get any response and now they are saying its my car and they don't know why it won't take the software updates. The bigger issue is how about an update. Again my car has not moved in days. No one calls me to tell me what is happening. Yes I have a loaner, a nice one at that, but I would still like to know what is going on with my car. This is not the first time that I have gotten no updates with the Lincoln side of the house. Same thing happened last year when my previous car was in for transmission service. Had that car for six weeks. COMMUNICATION folks. You PRETEND you are a luxury auto maker but you do not BEHAVE like one. I recently acquired a 2001 Ford Ranger. Obviously the previous owner didn't keep up with recalls on it because 10 seconds of research and I found an open recall concerning a seat belt buckle failure. To keep this review to less than 200 pages let's just say that I received the typical dealer run around. After numerous calls I finally got to speak to an actual person who seemed to care but that concern quickly evaporated. Three days later I received a call back to tell me that parts weren't available. Strange that when I spoke to the parts department last week there were 4 units in the warehouse. Not the first bad experience that I had at that dealership. But after a few years I thought things might have changed, I was wrong. We had our car towed by AAA with a battery problem which was totally discussed w/ Al Packer Ford Royal Palm Beach. Knowing that the battery was bad, maybe bad cables or some other problem involving the battery; was informed car was ready next afternoon to the tune of over$720.00. They knew ahead of time it was a battery related problem! Even if there were diagnostics involved, my God to charge that type of money is insane! Oh yes, the customer rep was very nice! Maybe the battery and cables that were changed out were made of GOLD! We will never deal with Al Packer Ford again, nor buy a vehicle there! Very upset and frustrated customer! read more

A polite young man said they had a lot of walk ins today and couldn't help me. Fine but when he said the soonest I could get an appointment was a week out I was a bit shocked.
