After feasting on tapas and Catalan specialties for days, we ended up grabbing a bite at Kilim for a change of pace. We'd passed by so many Turkish restaurants that smelled incredible, so it was only a matter of time before we indulged. Anywayyy - succulent, impeccably seasoned meat, super filling, cheap, and in a great location. What else? Gruff, yet efficient service. A wonderful place to pop in, not to linger. Still, pay 'em a visit. The kebab is worth every juicy second.

We decided this must be the local spot. It sure was. After getting in line, after waiting for about 5 min we were helped by these two nice guys were were running the joint and cooking the food. After placing our order we quickly realized how popular this little spot was as it constantly had a revolving line of people. Within 2-3 minutes, our chicken duruma was out. The the food itself was a 9 out of 10. HUGE PORTION for the duruma, fries and a drink for 7 euros. The durma was so good and fresh. My only opinion is that it needed hotter hot sauce but that's just my preference. EVERYTHING WAS SEASONED WELL AND COOKED GREAT. Fries were hot and fresh and tasted great. If your in the mood for this kind of food, do not hesitate to come eat here. You defenitly won't regret it.

There's a machine cranking them out, so you know it's gonna be good. I got this to go and didn't snap a shot, but it was delicious! The meat was tender, seasoned well with a bit of a kick, yet not salty. There was a nice yogurt sauce that was a dressing for both the meat and salad. And the pita bread had a great chew to it. And this only costed €5.50! What a deal and it hit the spot!

The food was great especially for this type of restaurant. The service was even better. It took a while for the waiter to warm up to our party but once this happened he was awesome. I even ran into our waiter later on the train one day and he was just as polite in public as he was when he was working. I can't say enough about this place. If you're in the neighborhood, stop by and grab a quick bite to eat. It's well worth it.

I didn't get a chance to go over the regular menu so I can't quite say what was on it. It's one of those neighborhood restaurants that you walk by with seating on the sidewalk. A local known spot for resident but. But once inside, it a cute restaurant. Not big but has that homey feel. Like I mentioned, we had reservations for the tasting menu. Since it was in Spanish, I was able to understand some of the dishes but the others were a surprise once we received it. Also, wine was accompanied with the menu. Started off with some olives. Plain and simple yet so tasty. Once the dishes started rolling it, you couldn't wait to see what was next. Halfway through the meal, lemon sorbet was brought out to cleanse our pallet for the second part. Each dishes that came out was amazing. Seared ahi tuna, octopus, duck liver with fig spread, scallops with caramelized onions, fried prawns, steak, croquettes... Dessert was also served, a plate of different cakes and pastries. I don't know how the dishes are chosen but they all seem to go well with one another. All in all, this place was amazing. Downfall, there was a guy that would go from one table to another to talk to the guest. Im assuming the locals but not once did he come over to check up on us to see how it was going and if we like our meal. It could be the owner. Guess he didn't want to intrude on the tourist. Anyways, food was great.

Both my son and I are very picky about Lebanese food having been spoiled by the excellent Lebanese in our home town Los Angeles, so we ordered with trepidation. The very first must-try dish immediately set our minds at ease: please, do yourselves a favor and order their Fatoush salad. It's done so right, juicy tangy, bursting with flavors and the pita in the salad is made into a curly flower and gives a delicious crunch. We liked the dish of garbanzo and yogurt a bit less, as it was quite heavy and lacked flavor. My son was very pleased with shish tavouk with chicken, and I loved my halloumi dish. The service was slow (as everywhere in Barcelona) but it was efficient, and our Egyptian waiter had good recommendations for everything. He was funny and personable.
