I was referred to this Indian spot due to the authentic taste and the dirt cheap prices. To note, I'm not the best reviewer cause this was my first Indian food experience! An employee greeted us once we went down to the basement of the building to find the place. He explained what was what in the buffet-style food station, which was helpful. I decided to get the (pardon my naming) yellow basmati? rice, cauliflower veggies in a sauce, brothy soup, a mango salsa-like item, and a salad. The rice and veggies were quite good, especially mixed together. The mango salsa was too spicy for me to eat (not a fan of spicy food), and the soup was average and lackluster. The salad was even more plain. What did I expect in an Indian restaurant though? I think I just got the wrong items, and not enough of the good ones. It was extremely affordable and you weigh the already quite heavy trays full of your food on a scale. The atmosphere tends to feel like the basement it's in, but the dining area is not bad with Indian music playing throughout, adding to the experience. I could see myself coming here again, but likely need more guidance on what to get. read more
