Shockingly (to no one) the best pizza is made in Italy! There were many options (and my colleagues​ explored them) yet I chose the simplest pie with just sauce and a smattering of herbs. It was heavenly. Best tomato sauce of all time/best pizza crust of all time. Did​ I mention it was the best? The atmosphere​e was excellent, and the servers very patient and helpful to our English speaking group. The downside? Nothing else will ever be as good. But still, it was so worth it.
