This place lived up to its status! Service, food and ambiance - everything up to the mark!…read more The decor here is so different - high ceilings with traditional chandeliers added to the charm. Homely and beautiful! I loved the bread here, ofcourse it came with olives and some sun dried tomatoes - this itself was such a great start. I got the radish salad which was simple and nice along with some app - can't remember the name but that was pretty tasty. For mains I got the risotto and husband got the white fish - both amazing! Finished the meal with some ricotta dessert and thoroughly enjoyed the dinner. I'm not a ricotta person but i highly recommend the dessert. On our way out we even got some pasta to take home and some marmalades. Highly recommend this place - I'm a fan!

They also have menus in English which if you are not a native Italian speaker, I recommend as they have some interesting items on the menu you may not want to mix up. I asked the waiter to help me select and enjoyed a pasta with sardines, tomatoes and pistachios €12. Epic! The main was pork stuffed with white local cheese and pistachio paste €14. Again, epic! Paired with the excellent local rioja €7, so good. No room for desert but I would put money down it was good. This is a very nice restaurant. Only thing I didn't like is several donkey plates on the menu. I love horses so not my thing. Apparently very traditional to eat horse or donkey on the island. With the Mediterranean Sea walking distance, I would have thought more seafood, less donkey.

Then as the evening progresses into late night, the place becomes more alive. They bring way more tables out front and people flood in (dressed anywhere from casual to classy) for great food and drinks. They play loud music but not annoyingly loud and they have live music from time to time. The coolest feature of this place is probably the fact that inside you can go down into an old cave and EAT in there next to an underground stream. Super romantic if that's what you're going for however make reservations for the cave in advance as there is limited room (also nice for the romance factor). They're dog friendly and always offered my pup water and treats. They make delicious pizzas and surprisingly tasty sashimi and sushi I highly recommend this place if you want to eat good food and drink good beer which they have an extensive list of.
