However, we did see some patrons sit, drink wine and have some small eats while at the shop. With that being said, this store emanates what I can only describe as an Italian deli/bodega. It has a decent selection of wine, but it's also a galore of gift baskets, assorted deli meats, and jarred pickled foods.
I've noticed some negative reviews on Trip Advisor, and not sure where they're deriving from. The host at the store was very friendly, jovial, and funny at times - even though I could not understand one word of the Italian he spoke. I don't know much about Italian foods, so I can't really speak on the price, but what I can say is that you're in a tourist location where you're out to enjoy, have fun and live. Why complain about the price when happiness is what matters most.
Definitely a neat shop. :)
