I can't believe how kind and professional she is, even to someone who is new to the process and asks TONS of questions like me! She made sure I wasn't uncomfortable and that the sugar wasn't pulling on my skin. She gave me specific instructions to follow before my first appointment to help me be best prepared for the procedure. Her directions for exfoliation were thorough and clear; and this is a key step to having any hair removal procedure to avoid skin irritation and ingrown hair. I'm excited to keep going and see the hair growth diminish on my legs. I get horrible razor burn, so this has been the best thing for me. Christina is happy to help with any other skin questions I have, giving suggestions of things to avoid and things to try that I already have at home... Never trying to just upsell me, she has offered me a few samples to try before buying a full-sized product from their showroom. The Spa has such a calm and peaceful atmosphere, as well. So much so that I look forward to spending a couple hours having my legs sugared, even though it isn't the most pain-free experience! (It does hurt a LOT LESS than regular waxing, however!) Highly recommended!

Today I had a full detox with Robin, OMG. I am very familiar with taking care of my body and believe in many different forms. Strongly recommend treating your body to three hours with Robin...

There have been instances of unprofessional conduct, including subtle antagonizing and disrespect toward paying members. What's more concerning is the apparent lack of accountability. These behaviors are either overlooked or not addressed, which creates an uncomfortable atmosphere for those simply trying to focus on their health and fitness. In my opinion, a gym should be a place of discipline, respect, and personal growth. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and reinforces a higher standard of professionalism among staff.

When I first joined, they had a promotion allowing two free guests and the membership cost was just over $20 per month. The gym was always crowded, and it was difficult to find available equipment--most of the time, it was either broken or occupied. The front desk staff rarely greeted me, which made the environment feel pretty impersonal. Eventually, I left for a cheaper gym (that unfortunately didn't have a hot tub) but found myself returning to Esporta specifically for their hot tub and sauna amenities. However, this turned out to be a frustrating decision. More than five times, I drove there only to find that one or both of those amenities were out of order. This isn't an isolated issue--it's quite common. When I returned after canceling my membership, I found that they had removed the free guest passes and raised the monthly fee by several dollars, yet I noticed no improvements in their facilities or services. Honestly, I'd recommend paying a bit more each month to go somewhere like the Natatorium in the Falls or even Planet Fitness. You'll likely have a much better experience than what Esporta offers. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

I came on a Sunday afternoon and was told no one from membership was available. I asked if I could get a brochure with basic membership plans and rates and was told no. I took off work during the week and got a high pressure tour from the membership director. I found the fact that they require an initiation fee to be a little odd, that's a very old fashioned model. Still I was impressed with the cleanliness and equipment so I signed up. I wish I hadn't. It was oversold in many ways. It's at best a mediocre run of the mill fitness center, akin to a YMCA or municipal rec center. They do offer towels but that's about it. Completely unimpressed with the fitness assessment I was offered. The person was looking at his phone the whole time. When I called to cancel my membership I was told I had to speak to the membership director. I left her a voicemail but she never got back to me. I went in-person to cancel. The membership director brushed me off and told me to she only dealt with new memberships, I had to go to the front desk to fill out a form. I started to fill out the form, but had some basic questions about the cancelation process which the nice retired people working the desk couldn't answer. I called and left another message for the membership director and have not heard back. They autorenewed my membership without notice. And are making it virtually impossible to cancel. Cleveland Clinic should be ashamed. In this day and age, no one wants an auto renewing subscription that you can't cancel without jumping through hoops.

I find that any exercise equipment I want to use is available any time of day, and there is a really good variety. It's rare that I have to wait to use a treadmill or stair stepper. There is also a pool, steam room, jacuzzi and indoor track. Members get free childcare, and it is offered at convenient hours. This was really helpful when I first started attending. And when you're a member you can just drop in for classes, no reservation or tickets needed. I like that. The staff are welcoming and can help you with equipment if needed. There are a lot of great services available here for fitness and I am really grateful everything is so convenient, like parking, free fresh towels, and operating hours.

In the past I've mainly purchased herbal teas and remedies (fantastic selection, all organic and fair-sourced, great prices), but also occassionally picked up books, candles, incense, hand-crafted jewelry, and the like. I hear good things about the many classes they offer but haven't yet had the chance to sit in on one. They also have frequent events like psychic fairs with multiple readers on site. Again, I've never availed myself of these, but have been around when a couple of them have been going on. The definite sense I got was that people were enjoying and appreciating them. I'm happy to say that I did avail myself today of some new (for me) A Creative ApothaCare services, and I couldn't be happier. I purchased a package deal for time in first their infra-red sauna, followed by their salt cave. It was epic - and also therapeutic, insanely relaxing, and happily very affordable. I will certainly be back for more of the same. I understand also that ACA will soon have a sensory float tank up and running. I definitely want to check that out, and will post an update here when I do. A Creative ApothaCare - I just can't recommend this place enough. Between the herbal products (which also include CBD and kratom), and the spa services, they've got your health and wellness covered. With books and metaphysical supplies, they're addressing mind and spirit. Throw in a real sense of community, welcoming to everyone, and a safe and nurturing environment for folks who need that most, ACA is a treasure. Do yourself a favor and stop by.

Mary did such a phenomenal job making me feel welcomed I signed up. I recently moved back to Akron after living in Arizona for ten years. I've been a member simultaneously at different gyms for various reasons. I must say Personalized Wellness Center holds up with the best of them. After being a member for two weeks at PWC and coming in at different times here is my sincere review. 1. PWC has a nutrition bar where they make fresh smoothies and offer supplements. (get a fresh smoothie after/before working out) 2. PWC is open 24/7 so you can work out at your convenience. 3.PWC has free weights, bicycles, treadmills, ellipticals, a track and a ton of machines. 4.PWC also has a daycare for kids,a rehabilitation center and also personal trainers. 5. PWC has a practical and reasonable monthly subscription 6.Mature crowd 7.Sauna I've been to gyms on the west coast were you pay $129 a month and gym's were you pay $19 a month. It's the same workout, whether you pay 10k for a rolex or ten dollars for a timex they both tell the same time. The more expensive gym's, yes did have newer equipment, fancier tv's, state of the art sound systems, big smoothie and supplement stores. At the end of the day your body & health transformation depends on YOU!! You have to go into the gym you have to lift the weights, you have to get on the treadmill and you have to want it. Typically not always but typically those big "franchised gyms' it's more of a social hour and people wearing too much cologne/perfume. That doesn't happen at PWC I highly recommend PWC it has everything a big franchise gym has but yet gives you the at home feel
