Great buffet service for breakfast and dinner. By far the best I have tired in hotels globally. The list price was 950 TL (breakfast) and 2500 TL (dinner). The hotel has a great private beach access under the cliff. It was great looking out to the Mediterranean Sea while dining outside. read more

Akra Hotel, Antalya, Turkey - June 1-2, 2024 We arrived at the Akra Barut Antalya Hotel at about 4 pm on a Saturday. Check in was friendly and efficient. At about 7 pm when we went down to dinner. We enjoyed a full buffet with drinks. It was probably the best buffet we've ever been too. We watched the sun go down on the outdoor patio. After dinner, we took a walk around the property. A jazz band was playing outside, but we decided to head back to the room and call it a night. The following day, we took an short Uber ride to the marina for a boat ride. It was a nice 2 hour cruise along the coastline of Antalya. We stopped and got pictures near a beautiful waterfall dropping into the ocean. Afterwords, we dropped anchor and spent about 30 minutes swimming off the back of the boat. When we got back to the hotel after lunch, we headed down to the pool. We had couple glasses of wine there and then walked down to the oceanfront where they have reclining chairs and a nice bar. We got a couple chairs and ordered some drinks. The service was friendly and quick. They have a nice pool ladder that dips into the ocean off the deck. We took a couple dips. The water was refreshing and not too cold. The hotel bathroom and shower were nice. The room was clean and comfortable. We also had a small deck with a couple chairs and a small table that looked out over the front of the hotel. This is a nice place to spend a few tourist dollars! read more

The dinner buffet and the morning breakfast buffet (which lasts until noon!!) one of the biggest offerings of such an option in the world: packed with Kalvati (Turkish style) breakfast spread and Western style breakfast, cheeses, teas, freshly prepared eggs, sausages etc. Use your imagination, it is probably here. Besides the food, which is outstanding the staff are friendly and nice. The accommodations are clean, pleasant. The pillows in the room are firm, and plush, the sheets are clean. I appreciate that though the bathroom is on the smaller side, the designers have tried to finish the counters and wall accents in marble. Modern building with indoor and outdoor pools, a deck overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and a small cement declined walk-in to the sea. Located close to the Old City and the Hadrian Gate. It is a 60 Tl (Turkish Lira) which is like 4.50 CAD taxi drive to the Old City. read more

Glad to be back. It's been almost a year and I can say the quality is still top notch. The front desk staff handled thing swiftly and with excellent customer service. The doorman who also helped me on my last stay is super helpful and I am glad to have seen him this go around. Room service is prompt and efficient. The breakfast buffet at Panora Restaurant never disappoints. You can have an omelette fried for you or choose from several options including but not limited to fruit, veggies, breads, olives, healthy drinks, detox drinks, juice, coffee, tea, cappuccino, and more. They also have a good selection of pastries. I want to mention the greeter in the morning is excellent! He is kind, hospitable and very helpful. View of the Mediterranean Sea are beautiful. I did a couple of spa treatments that were fabulous! Specifically, I got a gold mask facial and a skin tightening treatment. I felt better instantly afterwards. It may be a while, but if I ever visit Antalya again, this will be my go to hotel. read more

After staying at Akra Hotel in May with my son and having an amazing time, I was almost hesitant to show up again when the hotel would be much busier. However, I'm really glad we did end up visiting a second time and although it was busy, the guest services team, in particular Ms Sirin did a stellar job making us feel welcome and appreciated. Ms Evrim and Ms Sena from the Kids Club did a great job with the kids shows and activities as well as looking after my son. Ms Betul at Panora restaurant did an awesome job with hospitality and making my son smile. Ms Gulay took cleanliness of the room to next level and always had things done efficiently with everything we needed. What an incredible team at Akra Hotel in Antalya! Be aware there are two Akra hotels. Big and fancy on the seashore. And a more modest one across the street. I stayed in the more modest hotel. It gave me full access to all of the many facilities in the new hotel including a breakfast buffet vouchers this more modest hotel was very nice, clean and well maintained. The walk to the main hotel was a pleasant half block across the street. I would stay here again unless a view of the sea from your balcony was important to you. There is a pleasant coffee/dessert/snack restaurant separate from the hotel on the ground floor. In fact two separate places. I stayed for 8 days. I stayed in a room with a balcony, nice but no spectacular view. When I returned I will go back to this same hotel. The big hotel is certainly nicer but you get what you pay for. read more

Stayed here for two weeks with full board and in the Mediterranean suite - way to go! Spacious room and food was just so good! Private access to the sea, plenty of pools. Amazing gym! I feel rejuvenated and ready to go back to work. read more

The spring rate was amazing, the buffet dinner was delicious with so much variety from salads, appetizers, soups, breads, meats, sides and desserts! I visited the salon on a whim and they got me right in! I had the best service and treatment from everyone in there and they did a fantastic job on my hair-delivering exactly what I asked for! Housekeeping was friendly and so sweet. Very helpful and offering anything we could need. We ordered room service one evening and it was delivered by a very kind gentleman. The food was delicious and the next morning we were even gifted a bottle of wine! We felt special and well cared for. Every staff member was friendly and spoke great English. The room is fantastic, the sea view was gorgeous and amenities are plentiful! We will definitely be back. read more

We liked everything about this hotel. The location, the rooms, the views, the gym and spa, the top-floor snack hours, the indoor-outdoor pool, the service, the beach, the toiletries, the shower... really everything. We only had one night here but would have loved more. I can see this being a vacation destination in itself, as I'm sure it is for most people. It's like a self-contained luxury city that doesn't feel commercial or too resort-y, it feels upscale and clean and comfortable and very personal and so friendly. Can't imagine a better Antalya experience. Would love to come back! read more

My fiancée and I were looking for the perfect hotel for our much needed vacation. He found this hotel by chance on the internet, after looking at pictures we decided to book it. The views were so amazing. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. The buffet met all of our needs for breakfast and dinner. One night we got back late from a day tour to pamukkale and the gentleman who checks room numbers in the dinning room still let us go in and eat even though they were cleaning up in 2 min. We were ever so grateful. We had a beautiful dinner in the cabana that came with our honeymoon suite then we had desert at the roof top restaurant in the hotel. Although we didn't have reservations (which is highly recommended) the hostess sat us. It was really good. Everything was above exceptional, it made our whole stay here really memorable.! read more
