There is an option of a smaller revolving building to this hotel. It peaked my interest but it's shorter in height and you don't always get the ocean view. I opted for high in the sky, ocean view 24/7. I am glad I did, with the large wall to wall windows, I never closed the curtains, and the sun woke me up as soon as it started to peek through. The views were amazing and I didn't have to leave my room if I didn't want to. I read some reviews where they take the colorful bright rooms as tacky. I was in rainbow heaven. It's my thing, no complaints. Plus the rooms are humongous; I could do cartwheels in them. Plenty of counter space, lounging space, and the beds are equally as big and comfy. The grounds are well kept, with beautiful flowers blooming everywhere. Cliffs with a view no matter what direction you walk to. Beach access is down the stairs or an elevator and just a short stroll through a tunnel within the cliff. It was the most expensive hotel throughout my Turkey trip, but you won't get beach access like this anywhere else. That made it worth it and I would definitely stay here again. Except, I don't like traveling to the same place twice because there are so many places to see and so little time. Pay attention to excursion dates through the Hotel. Everywhere in Turkey I had been able to plan as I wanted. They have specific dates here for certain excursions. I missed their date and was very upset, but they accommodated me and worked through another agency to get me on the day trip to Pamukkale that I was heartbroken at the thought of not being able to go there. When picking a place to stay in Antalya I had few reservations and tried not to be very picky. I was staying with a few friends of mine and we were just looking for a place near some sights to save the taxi fare and a good breakfast to start the next day. - Concrete - Skippy wifi - Four beds 125€ - Polite staff - Breakfast buffet - Great beach view - Large Turkish coffee shop across the street When I first arrived the staff was very nice, they let me know of all the perks and I was in my room within 10 minutes. I was initially thrown off by the concrete walls because the room was much more industrial than the lobby led on, but I was please overall with the room. Stay away from that mini bar, because the prices are outrageous! Countries in this area put a huge luxury tax on alcohol. Just outside the doors of the beautifully decorated lounge area, there is a nice swimming pool and cliff with a view. If you feel like relaxing in the sun or going for a walk, the hotel has provided a nice area to enjoy. There was an unfinished area at the end of the walkway that leads out to the cliff and there is no beach access but you can take some amazing pictures off the cliffs edge. I woke up fairly early to the call for prayer which is heard very easily at the hotel. I wasn't too thrown off by this, because it was already expected due to the heavy Muslim population. In the lounge area by the pool, a buffet style breakfast is served in the morning that was amazing. The variety of food took into account different cultures while still catering to your taste buds. The food alone made my stay worthwhile. If you are wanting to soak-in the downtown scene there are plenty of hotels at a closer distance to avoid the taxi fare but if you're looking to stay closer to the sights and get a better feel for the people then the Marmara Antalya is a great choice!

I don't quite know how they successfully navigate the changing regulatory restrictions imposed by the Turkish government, but they do, with flying colors! Staffing must be a nightmare, but you would never know it during your stay. The level of service maintained is typical of Hilton plus some more. Excellent bartenders, great food, and always smiling faces with attention to service, service, service. Housekeeping sneaks into your room twice a day to provide clean linens and room cleaning which is nice for a resort where you are changing from swimsuit to resort clothes with no defined schedule. For the Covid-19 averse crowd, Hilton employees wear masks, and provide individually wrapped utensils and frequent disinfecting of surfaces. Even after 10 days of dining, we had still not tasted a majority of the food choices that are offered. If you are interested in a total Turkish dining experience, try the a la carte restaurant, Eat Fish, and enjoy Raki and grilled fish accompamied by Turkish appetizers (meze). Enjoy!

It is right near the tram station, which makes getting to and from the airport incredibly easy. It's also highly walkable, we easily strolled right into the Old Town area and down to Mermerli Beach. The surrounding neighborhood felt clean and well-maintained. The staff here are wonderful. Both the front desk team and the cleaning ladies were incredibly nice, approachable, and quick to help out with any questions. The beds were also very comfortable, which is always a huge plus. A few things to keep in mind: Street Noise: Because the hotel is right on a main avenue, the motorcycle traffic can be loud. If you are a light sleeper, just ask for a room facing the back of the building instead of the main street, it blocks out the noise completely. Minor Details: The property has a few quirks that could use a touch-up. The elevator is a bit bumpy, some of the flooring finishes look a little rough, and the AC in certain rooms might need a quick maintenance check. Fix those minor details, and the place would look much sharper. Overall, if you need a convenient, comfortable spot while using Antalya as a launchpad for tours or as a stopover on your way to another destination, it's a great option.

I stayed at the camp just before the rock climbing season. It was so serene and peaceful. The camp has mesmerizing view. It is surrounded by grand hills and peaks. It's walking distance to the ancient Lycian road. A short trip down the hills will lead to the river bed. In certain points the running water created little pools. At the camp there is a common kitchen, a restaurant, toilets and showers. The common kitchen has all sorts of utensils. They even have a traditional Turkish tea kettle. The toilets and showers are very well built. They are wide and clean. In the shower there is plenty of places to hang your clothes or to put your shampoo and soap. They also have hot water available at all times.

The receptionist should have not promised us a ride to the main road on the next day if he could not, claiming that the car broke down just as we met him at the promised time was irresponsible of him. He said hi to us earlier that morning with no word about the broken down car. He also gave us the wrong timing for the afternoon bus and quoted us the wrong and higher price for our stay. I had to show him the website and the quoted prices to correct him.

There are plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants all around the hotel. Even though it's clear that the hotel is quite old and partly outdated, it still looks fine overall; I especially liked the nicely designed lobby, which features marble elements. Plus, the entire hotel was kept spotlessly clean every single day of my stay. The biggest notable minus was definitely the elevator - the hotel has only one, and it's old, small, and very slow. On top of that, the "down" button for the elevator on the 5th floor didn't work, so I always had to press the "up" button to call it. On the positive side, the hotel has a 24-hour porter who helps with anything you need, and at night it feels safer with both a front desk clerk and a porter in the lobby. The front desk staff were always polite, friendly, and sweet to me, especially the guy working the morning/day shifts. I also want to mention the housekeeping ladies: they were kind, quick to bring anything I asked for, and I often saw them working late, even around 4 p.m. My check-in was fast and easy. Moreover, my pre-arrival request for a high-floor room with a nice city view was honored, which I really appreciated. My Standard Double Room (#502) was spacious for one person, so I felt very comfortable. The room's design was simple but pleasant, and all the furniture was in good condition. I liked having a little foyer area when entering, with a corner luggage bench there. Another big plus was the two large windows, which filled the room with natural daylight; I could also fully open one window for fresh air. Moreover, there was a separate glass door leading to a small balcony. From my room I had beautiful views of the city and the mountains! Unfortunately, my room was not very soundproof. I could clearly hear hallway noises from my floor, especially in the mornings when housekeeping was cleaning, which woke me up almost every day. Other downsides were a small, outdated TV; an old refrigerator that didn't get very cold; and an air conditioner remote that only worked if I held it right next to the A/C. For example, it was impossible to manage the temperature while lying on the bed. Also, I hated that the air conditioner was placed directly across from the bed blowing air right on me, so I preferred to keep it off and sleep with the window open most nights. The closet in my room was spacious and could easily fit plenty of clothes, but there were only a few hangers provided. The Queen-size bed was fairly comfortable, but the pillows were a bit too firm for my taste. The bathroom wasn't large, but it was well designed and nicely maintained. The shower stall was big enough, and the shower itself worked fine - the water pressure was strong. Unfortunately, I disliked the hotel's cheap bathroom amenities - they smelled terrible, so I ended up buying my own shampoo and shower gel. The biggest minus of my stay was definitely the Wi-Fi. It was awful all over the hotel and especially in my room - constantly disconnecting and painfully slow. I couldn't even watch a YouTube video! I complained several times, and a couple of front desk guys promised to check and fix it, but nothing changed during my 10-day stay. So I had to rely on cafes and restaurants around Antalya to get fast Internet access. Very disappointing experience! Price-wise, though, this hotel is a great deal. I paid €40 per night (including all taxes and fees), which I find very reasonable for a decent, clean, and real hotel - especially considering how many "hotels" in Antalya look quite sketchy, suspicious, and unreliable. Even though this hotel is not perfect and a bit outdated, I can still recommend it, especially if saving money is one of your main priorities. If you find a rate similar to what I paid - €40 per night - grab that deal without any doubts! Personally, I'd consider staying at Hotel Antroyal again, but only if the Wi-Fi issue gets resolved in the near future.
