You can either have a general play session which lasts at least 2 hours (exhausting), they do birthday parties, parent and toddler sessions and they even have an Over 16's night every Tuesday. There is a cafe on site which has 5 stars from Lincoln Environmental Health and they serve a wide variety of reasonably priced food and drinks. Best in Lincoln!

The arcade machines are in excellent condition and are fair unlike some you can encounter. It is colourful and loud, just as children like it. The road has parking space as well which makes thing seven better. For those wanting to visit Golden Sands, it has its very own car park. For little kids, they can race in karts outside. Golden Sands also has a cash machine and an over 18's slot section. Collect tickets and win prizes hanging on the ceiling. I went for a Super Mario toy. Worth a visit if you are in New Hunstanton.

Amusement Arcades come in all shapes and sizes. Most people…read moretoday think of an amusement arcade as something like a hall consisting of one-armed bandits, small kiddies roundabouts and a sitdown bingo link. Or maybe something more alabrate like Alton Towers Theme Park. But years ago in the somewhat posh area of Hunters Bar, Sheffield, people found their amusement in different ways. At the rear end of the Botanical Gardens you will find, hidden from view by dense trees and bushes, the remains of a Bear Pit. A large circular pit dug out off the soft earth, then lined with sandstones. It looks like they laid the stones as drystone walling because there's no sign of any motar between the stones. There's a large entrance at the rear, where obviously the bear was lead into the torturous pit, where we can assume the poor animal was torturously ill treated by the gawping men and women who leared over the top of the open pit. Thank God we've learnt to treat wild animals with respect these days and done away with these hidious amusement arcades of the 19th. Centruary. But having said that, if you're into historic amusements it's still interesting to see The Bear Pit, a true historic gem from days gone by.

There are many things to do here, which would certainly be suitable for families, adventure seekers, cinema lovers and co, including Tenpin bowling, a Cineworld Cinema. There is also a gym and rock climbing area. For food and drink, you're also tempted by a wide array of brands including Nando's, Ask Italian and Pizza Express. There is also a Starbucks here, although it didn't look too welcoming. It felt so uncomfortable that they openly admitted they did not trust customers to have food items in the fridges, and kept them all in the back - I totally understand loss prevention but I've never seen any Starbucks locations do this other than this one. The car park is HUGE, it felt way too big, but I'm sure due to the varied things to do and eat here, it can get quite busy, especially in such a peak location, being right off the motorway it makes it easily accessible through all points of the country. PRO TIP: If you're going on a longer journey, make this a stop off to get a bite to eat or something to drink, you have a selection of brands and you're not paying the high prices of motorway service stations. There is a small selection of shops here too, but nothing too special, this isn't really a place you'd come to shop. There's a sporting goods store and a WHSmith Travel location as I could recall, that's pretty much it. 4* - I like this place, it's pretty cool and certainly a good spot for a family day out.

I was pleased with the service at megabowl, as because I have large feet, I often expect to be disappointed when i get there, but nevertheless, they did have bowling shoes in a size 15! Overall, megabowl is a very relaxed, and fun place for all the family. And for the ones of you who want to stay late, it much cheaper if you go after 10 as you often get free games.

Well it's exactly what it says on the tin! it's bowling!…read more It's now actually called tenpin but not much has changed, although now it as it's own Quasar! and if you've never played - have a go! it's so much fun. Basically, what happens is you go in and after a brief training video your fitted with a plastic shield and given a 'laser' gun. (don't worry it's totally harmless!) and then you go into a darkened room (don't wear white as they're are lots of ultra violet lights which add to the atmosphere). you're separated into 2 teams and given a base to guard, the idea is that each team attack the other base and score points which are all recorded and the score is given out to you at the end. You can also shoot each others which renders you unable to fire your gun for a few seconds and scores points for the other team. Not so good for little kids, but great for teenagers and I've seen quite a few stag parties have a go! Back to the bowling - it's tenpin and you can chose to go it alone or have bumpers, there's also the use of cradles for the less able bodied folks and little kids. They have a fully licenced bar aswell, and you can order food and drink to be delivered straight to your bowling lane! easy!

It is based in the old Virgin megastore building in Birmingham city centre at the top nearly of Corporation Street. I was lucky enough to visit the day before opening of this place along with the press, and got to try out pretty much everything there, consequently I have returned a couple of times and its fantastic. There are different themed rooms, all with state of the art systems loaded with all the latest games. There is also a familly room downstairs, a VIP area, a beanbag and movie area and a bar. Also as an added bonus the chairs are so comfy. Its free to join, and its £5 each time you go but you can stay as long as you want and theres loads of things from Wiis, Xbox to PS3 and of course the computers. Its definatly a gamers heaven, although not for me.

The budget must have been astonomical, and i cannot understand how they have spent so much money on this place. It opened in teh summer of 2007, and it provides a 21st Century arcade style gaming, providing a casual yet high-tech social experience for all ages and abilities. You pay £5 membership which is a one-off fee, and then can roam the club, and play consoles, buying time on a particlar station at your leisure. There are many chill out areas and cafes to relax in between games. I heard of a week night 18+ gaming night that they were doing, where you can have a few drinks and play a few shoot-em up games with mates, sounds great to me, with the academy just round the corner for after...well worth checking out i think! I can see something like this taking off, as there's nothing on the same scale in Brum, and with its prime location just 2 mins away from teh Bull Ring, i wish them the best of luck, and encourage you guys to check it out!

My friend's mum owns and runs the shop and I come here every time I visit my parents. Half of the shop is devoted to DVD rentals, with the latest releases on offer along with some classics you won't find in Blockbuster, like 'The Boy Who Could Fly', and 'Mac and Me' and all the other ones I watched when I was little and cried heaps at. The other half is like some kind of sweetie emporium. There are hundreds of them, from chocolate bars to penny sweets to old fashioned jars of cough candy. It's easy to spend a couple of quid in here on white mice and strawberry laces, om nom. The shop also stocks Pokemon cards and the like, and other game-y sort of things that I don't really understand but children probably do. And ice creams.
