I wanted family photos taken before the event started, the details captured, and the cocktail hour photographed and filmed. Instead, the entrance was delayed, everything became rushed and disorganized, and the moments that mattered most to me were missed completely. What makes this even more upsetting is that I truly did not care about the end of the night being covered. Your photographer and videographer clearly saw guests leaving around 10 PM and the room emptying out, yet the beginning of the event -- the part I specifically paid to have documented -- was neglected. They were flexible with everything-- the time, the place, the ceremony. She has a huge packet of sample ceremonies, so we picked one and then swapped some more personal things in like our own vows and a reading we selected. During the ceremony, Judie spoke with such a joyful tone, I truly felt like she knew us and was so happy we were getting married. Liam is the photographer, and while he might seem a little shy at first, he is a BLAST to work with. I told him that we'd like nice, bright photos, and also expressed my concern regarding some ugly fence in the background. He really made everything work, and we had a great time during our one-hour photo shoot. We got 50 pictures back (less than a week later) and LOVE every single one of them. I received a text message and phone call (w/voicemail) from Mrs. Mir's husband (Shahzad) yesterday…read moredemanding that I remove all photos, as this is illegal and that he's contacted his lawyer. I apologized that he felt offended but I paid for a service, signed a contract, and am just sharing my experience. He felt that since I paid a low amount for 2 days that I should NOT be complaining. $1 or $1000 or $10,000, someone's hard-earned money is still that....HARD EARNED. I was not pleased with the service I received and am sharing my experience via a public forum which is 100% legal. I even contacted my attorney to be certain and he confirmed that nothing illegal has taken place. Please brush up on your legalities prior to threatening someone. The pictures were taken at the venue by our photographer. They have not been changed or altered in ANY WAY. As you can see the photos are not degrading or lewd. Lesson: if a client is unhappy with how you have conducted a service try and make it right and handle the matter in a professional manner rather than insulting them, passing off their work as your own (via pictures you took at their event, without their permission), and telling them it was the "BIGGEST" mistake to coordinate your wedding after your have given them honest feedback and paid them in full. Handle the matter in a respectable manner and don't have your husband text and call the ex-client (several months later) threatening them because it going to get you nowhere.

My engagement party was coming up in a couple of months, and I decided to meet her for initial consultation which she offered free of charge. She came and met me at my venue on my requested time. I was further impressed with her polite soft speaking friendly behavior as if I was talking to a family member. She noted down every single detail of my event and promised me that everything will take place according to the contract which was very detailed from noting down the catering services/contacts down to the color of table cloth and napkins designs. :) I hired her as the day of coordinator to coordinate my engagement party and I couldn't have been happier with my decision. Asma was in touch with every single service provider and made sure everything went according to plan. I had a special surprise for my fiance (the way the engagement ring was to be delivered) which I shared with Asma and it turned out to be the best experience of my life as it went exactly the way we had planned. :) She showed me the worth of what an event planner really is, I would highly recommend Asma for any occasion. The only reason I am taking a star away is because the dj messed up one of our songs (but that's because my own CD was bad :) )
