In my experience not a great place to work ! If you want to work 12 hour days for 300 pounds a month, trekking across the city in all weathers then go for it. Don't expect to be told which classroom you are in, and expect to be held accountable if you are late because you can't find it.
This is possibly an OK job if you are newly qualified and desperate for some experience. If you have more than a years teaching experience I would steer clear. The pay is worse than you can expect in most places and the teaching development and guidance you will receive isn't better than you average entry level job (and a lot worse the first TELF job i had).
The course description for many classes is non existent or vague. When you are forced to ask someone for some kind of a clue as to what you should be doing, you will be treated a if you are obviously borderline retarded (maybe true ;-)) for lacking the obviously required psychic powers.
As for the accommodation, they do not deliver basic facilities that are promised in the contract (to be specific a washing machine). I complained about this after a week and a half of waiting (with no explanation or apology) and was told i was rude.
That's about it, rant over. read more
