One of the main issues may have been fixed as powers building company was terrible. They did not…read moremeet deadlines and used subpar contractors. All of my windows were originally installed without sealant. While this is not entirely blue ridge log homes fault they were definitely somewhat in bed with this contractor as he was the only one they pushed. The second issue and the reason I'm writing this review a few years in, is that there were some issues in building the house that has never been corrected and they cannot seem to find the cause. I have windows that leak so bad that water comes in through the electric sockets in the walls. This has been going on since the house was first finished and they were made aware as soon as the problem arose. Four years later my windows still leak and i have water stains on the inside of my house due to water coming in at the windows. I have tried to contact the company through email to send someone out to fix, even if I had to pay, and they say they will get back to me but never do. My home is beautiful but if it cannot keep water out what good is it?
