Spoke to Deep before my wedding - he refused to have the company set up my venue the day before…read moreunless we paid an extra $400. Told him that we expected a flawless wedding if he was not willing to come to the rehearsal the day before and test out his equipment. He assured me that his company was professional and had worked in our venue before. Firstly, I got a call on my wedding day from Deep inquiring about where the electric outlets were in the venue. I had to instruct him to find the venue contact and ask them for help. Secondly, and most important, we didn't get the 3 microphones promised on our contract. It ran out of batteries in the middle of the ceremony. There were supposed to be 2 table microphones and there was only one. Half way through the ceremony, this microphone also stopped working. The DJ was trying to change batteries in the middle of the ceremony! Thirdly, we were asked to specify the type of music we preferred during our high tea reception. We clearly articulated a specific type of music, and this was ignored. I do not recommend Urban Beats to anyone who wants quality service.
