We simply thought there was a mixup and provided them with the emails receipt from their company of the transaction. They said they would no lonegr be honoring that price. Many emails ( they won't answer any of their phone numbers and their voicemail is not setup ) later they ended up cancelling our reservation!!! I then looked for the house on places like Home to Go and VRBO and see that the weekly rate is now $2000 more than what we were under contract for!!! I now see why they did this, it was for a money grab. Now we are scrambing to find a house for our daughters softball world series, inventory is low and pricing is high ( which is why we booked 11 months in advance ) Again, Christine Pettys, their controller, will not get on a call, i asked for someone in management and received zero response to that request. I asked for copies of my contract, their cancellation policy ( when they cancel ) and again, zero response. Please, don't have the same experience we had. This is an extremely bad business practice, coming back and asking for more money ( for less days ) then cancelling when you protest. Then to not discuss on a call is even worse. Great, safe, friendly feeling place. Truly VERY close to the beach -- when someone says "just steps to the beach" I'm always like "Well.... how many steps do you mean because like 2 miles is still steps..." but in this case (we were in building C which isn't even the closest) it truly was about a one minute walk - maybe 2 minutes with small kids. I also really liked the rinse-off hoses and showers when you cross into the parking lot -- those saved us a lot of discomfort, mess, and even laundry. They aren't fancy, and it isn't flashy, but this place is clean, comfortable, and really good for families with young kids. The pool is nice, the views are good from most of the units, and we would definitely come back again.
