I tried to swap all the light switches to smart switches myself and oh boy was I doing things wrong, I did something wonky and made the top floor power dead. I panicked because family members (elders) will have trouble, and it was getting dark out. I messaged a lot of companies and hoped for the best. From all the companies I contacted, Electric All responded within 10 mins to my message (Via Yelp). (Note: others responded between 1 hour to 3 hours, they all had a good response time, but in the eyes of a panicking homeowner, vigilance matters; some even indicated that they can come next week) I got in touch with Sammy, and even though he was done for the day, (It was on a weekend), he came all the way to me from home. -- Let me say this as a Side note; THAT itself shows dedication. I was glad and feeling better that someone is interested at looking at the mess that I got myself into! Once Sammy got here, he got right into it, he taught me what I was doing was on the right track and gave me insights on how I could have done it. Seriously, this guy is not only pleasant and a family man, but he is teaching me as well? Yes please! I love to learn! Why don't we have more like him in this world? Amazing ability of workmanship and explanation. The way he talks about his profession and what he is doing, giving me ideas on what to expect along the way and how my home wiring actually works compared to other types. I was amazed. He showed great passion on what he does, and he does it well. This guy is a Jedi Master Electrician. 5/5 Stars because Yelp doesn't allow me to give anything higher. (Like 100 out of 5 would show my experience rating) Not only am I impressed but his pricing was reasonable for the work he did. Some quoted me less some quoted me more. I am happy with the price he provided me. He also told me the price before he even got here, there we no surprises. Also, my final bill was higher than what he originally quoted, because I asked him to take care of the rest of the switches (There was like 12 total), I at this point just wanted someone like him to do it right the first time. So that's totally on me for giving him extra work, and even then he charged me less than what it came up to. You give me a high class experience, I asked you to do more work even though you should be home with family and you still give me a break on the price? Love you man! In the end of his visit, he gave me pointers on my next project (Nest Thermostat) and how to do it myself. His focus was for me to get things done, not to take my money. I love his attitude and I love his humble appreciation of the work he does. He said I can ask him to come by but I should try it first and learn from it. This review might be too long, but he genuinely is just awesome (as a person and professionally) and words alone can't express enough of it.

Sammy came over tonight (Sunday evening) and not only found the cut wires... but also showed me how the outdoor power was corroded and not working due to water condensation. Sammy replaced the outdoor boxes, taught me how to protect my home and check my boxes monthly, and fixed everything!! Thank you for coming Sammy!! I know it's a weekend and time away from your family. You saved the day and protected me from future problems! Short version- professional, knowledgeable, great problem solving!…read moreLong Version- David demonstrated patience and problem solving in the extreme for an ongoing and challenging electrical problem in my son's bedroom. The breaker was intermittently and frequently tripping. We had paid another company 2 years prior, over $1000 to rewire my son's room including running new lines form the basement breaker because they couldn't seem to isolate the problem. We thought it was fixed, but 2 years later, the problem started again. The other company was too busy to come back to deal with the work they had done, so based on a referral, we called David. He tested everything, and was quickly able to isolate the plugs that were causing the issue (something the other company never did!). He suggested we leave them disconnected for a while to see if this was the cause of the problem. He was right! Because all the other plugs were working fine for the past 2 years, we never got around to calling him back to rerun the wires for those 2 plugs until this year, when we noticed a terrible smell coming from an outlet on the other side of my son's room. After opening and disconnecting the plug, he determined that there was probably a dead animal in the wall! David was kind enough to help us cut out the drywall to see what was there. For safety, he also disconnect all the other plugs on that line. Once that was done, he further helped us to open the wall, where we discovered a very smelly and disgusting mess! Squirrels had chewed a hole through our roof, got into the exterior wall of my son's room, then chewed a hole through the cement board and got into the insulation in the space between the cement board and the drywall. While they were in there, they also chewed the wires and electrocuted themselves. David went above and beyond in helping us to open up the wall and make sure we got everything out (4 dead squirrels- yuck!). He also made sure he disconnected all the plugs connected to the chewed wire on our upper level. He has now rerun all the wires, checked that it is all working. For insurance and safety, he also called an inspector to check everything. He will be reactivating the the plugs where the wires were replaced once the drywall is redone. He will also send pictures to the electrical inspector for final approval. We are very grateful that we finally had an electrician who was willing to stick with us to fully figure out the problem and fix it! We would highly recommend his services to anyone!
