Not really a place for a family. Lots of oil field workers stay there. Kinda like a man camp. Lady at the front desk is a bit rude. She lacks customer service. It is a place to sleep, nothing more. The bed is a platform style--not comfortable at all. It was also very loud in our room; we could hear people talking in the common area, and they started very early in the morning. The breakfast was pitiful--bland sausage gravy and biscuits, toast, cereal, bagels, English muffins. There was no thought at all to hygiene, no thought at all to details--no cream cheese, no jam for toast. They didn't even have forks. We travel a lot, and this was one of the worst places we have ever stayed.

This is my favorite place to stay in the Bakken so far. Got my best night's sleep in the Bakken…read morehere because the rooms are padded for sound and it's a comfortable mattress. You get breakfast in the morning, coffee any time of day, and the whole thing is cheaper than most of the competition. The hosts are sooo friendly, they know the true meaning of hospitality and go out of their way to take care of you. This is what makes it truly special, and sometimes feel like home, when you are so far away. The rooms are small but they have everything you need. I travel a lot; this place gets all my 5 stars.

The separation of bedroom(1 tv here) and kitchen-and tv room(another tv here). The quality of the mattresses. The quality of the linen and the cleanliness. I could not stay at another hotel in the vicinity, after staying here. My hat's off to the management and owners for such a well designed and planned offer. I highly recommend your stay at this great hotel. You won't regret it!

I checked out the next day, looked at my card statement a few days later and seen i was charged for BOTH rooms. I called 6-7 times, finally got ahold of a "manager". They then said they fixed it. Looked at my statement, the fix was now being charged 1 room for 2 nights, they said i didn't check out by checkout time (which is a LIE), so i was charged a "stayover" day. This hotel is VERY dishonest and VERY shady. I will never stay there again, i recommend strongly to look for another place to stay if you need a place to stay in Williston.

Check in is at 3 pm, I arrived around 12 pm and asked the front desk if I could check in early, but they said they didn't have a room ready but come back later and see what they have. Understandable. I called them at 2 pm to check on their progress with the room cleaning and they said they had my room ready. Great. However, I would have to pay $25 for that extra hour I would be in there or I would have to wait until 3 pm. So, I waited until 3 pm in the lobby and then got checked in, I finally got to my room only to find the key doesn't work. So had to drag all my luggage back downstairs to get the key rescanned. From check-in to 2 attempts to get into my room, I didn't get into my room until 3:20 pm. This is the first time I have ever had a hotel try and charge me for trying to get in a little early. I've gotten in 4 hours early multiple times with no extra charge. I typically leave 3 hours before check-out so should I get reimbursed for that? This is just bad business and even worse customer relations. If they were busy or setting up for an event, etc. I would understand it but when there is nothing happening and they are just sitting there. I just don't get it. Neither myself nor my team, who make regulars trips here, will not be staying at this hotel. Overall, that $25 will cost them thousands in revenue.
