We used Airco for years, but the service has just declined. They scheduled us for an appointment for routine maintenance and failed to show or call. When I complained, I was told a manager (Sean) would be calling. Never happened. The crazy thing is that we literally live 5 minutes from their office. Won't use or recommend them again. read more

A year ago they came overcharged the refrigerant in our unit and after running it through that summer, it ended up damaging the compressor. They blamed the capacitor and into buying a $400 stop that was installed in less than five minutes, but did nothing cool the house. Then they started to blame the ductwork and even their free estimate person said it didn't look that bad. Stay away from this company they don't seem to know what they are doing and our only trying to sell you a maintenance plan and new ductwork in AC units. They're not trying to fix the problem. read more

We had technician Marcellis McFarlin come out to asses our kitchen sink clog. This company charged us for a diagnostic visit but made no real attempt to fix our kitchen sink clog. The technician barely inspected under the sink, spent time outside on the phone, and then told us we needed new pipes costing over $1,000. No effort was made to snake or clear the clog, and the explanation given (possible frozen pipes) didn't make sense, especially since other sinks in our home were working fine. He even seemed surprised when we told him our bathroom drains had no issues. Later the day, we hired another plumber who quickly identified the real problem, cleaned the line properly, and fixed the issue completely. This experience felt rushed, dismissive, and sales-driven. I would strongly suggest getting a second opinion before agreeing to any major work from this company. The classic bad-service/upsell-heavy visit was a major red flag. Will not be using again. read more

I am not using Airco again. I have had hit-and-miss service quality in the past but my last issue is the last straw. I knew my main blower motor had failed. They replaced it, but said my variable speed motor was more expensive than most. They charged me over $1400 for the motor. This motor is available online new for $450 (free shipping) - $1000 markup! The motor is a Genteq ECM EON 1 HP Blower Motor 5SBA39RLV5504. Just as bad as a auto repair shop nowadays. read more

BAD PRODUCT, INSTALLATION AND SERVICE - LONG STORY Bought $13,500 Daikin Japanese Inversion AC system from Airco-Little Rock on 3/9/22 reputed by sales rep to be GREAT and would save me big money. Turned system on on 4/25 and it did not work. Demanded refund but Airco refused. They spent two months with no idea how to fix. Brought a special Daikin Tech from Texas and he really had no idea but he suggested a $3-4000 repair. I refused to pay and Airco refused to refund. I figured out most of the problem which was using pleated filters which restricts air flow. Sales rep figured out how to turn on compressor. But unit would not cool much of my house. Airco did install new vents but they did no good. They still refused to refund. I was stuck. We have compensated with drapes, ceiling fans, floor fans and even a room water chiller. In June of 2023 water backed up and flowed out of emergency drain. Airco tech informed me that installation was improper and shoddy and required several repairs. I refused to pay and Airco absorbed cost. In September of 2023 the outdoor unit clogged with dirt because an inverted system runs 24 hours per day sucking in dirt and dust. I have to clean my own system 2-3 times per summer. In October of 2024 the Airco tech for the routine fall inspection left me with an ERROR-CONTACT DEALER message on thermostat because he had no idea what to do. Another tech found bad switch and replaced. In June of 2025 the AC unit refused to shut off early in the morning for the umpteenth time and almost froze us out of our house for 20 minutes or so. On July 1, 2025 I complained to Daikin-North America and they advised me that I had been sold a discontinued model due to problems with the coolant and SEER Ratings. Airco DOES NOT RESPOND TO MY COMPLAINTS ANY MORE. I am stuck with them because many servicers will not work on Japanese Inversion Units. read more

Ants got into the electrical connection on my a/c. They installed a new connection and charged several hundred dollars. Price was way too excessive. I won't call them again! read more

Poor service and cannot diagnose or fix problems. Would not recommend. The reviews you see online are not for Little Rock.

I called for an annual service before it got too hot, the technician was prompt and courteous. The commercial running at the time was 'if anything goes wrong after getting serviced, we will apply whatever you paid to future service if something goes wrong'. I called back a month or so later, talked to Benjamin, he said I would have to pay another service fee and whatever the charges were when they come out. I asked for a manager or owner to call me regarding, never heard from anyone.... Now, I don't see that commercial anymore. Poor customer service. Never received a callback. read more

This company only wants to sell new things. The service manager who responded to me was not customer friendly. I found a local reliable AC that fixed my problem. The only employee from Airco, that went above and beyond was Evan Lemons. Lesson learned. read more
