Partial Personal Size White Pizza
Lissete D.

We walked in on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch and quickly learned it was opening day. Unfortunately, service was extremely slow. It took 13 minutes just to receive water--our first red flag. People around us were repeatedly getting up to look for their server, complaining, and even walking out. Despite all the warning signs, we decided to stay. My husband and I ordered a Meatball Grinder and a personal white pizza. We waited about 30 minutes for the grinder and another 10 minutes for the pizza. The Meatball Grinder was delicious and the main reason for the 3-star rating. The pizza, however, was just okay. I usually enjoy thin crust, but this one was rubbery, though the flavor itself was good. Getting the check took a long time as well. My husband waited while I stepped outside because the smoke inside was unbearable and irritated my eyes. Once the check arrived, it still took another five minutes for the server to return so he could pay. We may try Ah-Beetz again in a few months--likely for takeout--primarily for the Meatball Grinder.

Meatball

Came back for 4th time. Soooo good This doesn't get old. Might be best in Florida. Don't wait. Go now

Over garlic white pie

I believe this might be the lowest rating I've given. Ordered 2 Lg White clam pizzas, lg white pizza and personal plain. The best one was the plain but nothing spectacular. The white was way overloaded with garlic and everyone agreed on that. The white clam was a soggy mess. I can only guess the person who made it did not strain the clams and poured clam juice on the pie. Flop is an understatement. So wet if I was to squeeze it out I probably would have been able to fill a jar of the stuff. Come on, common sense you dump juice on bread, bread becomes soggy. Absolute shame.

The pizza was AWESOME!! If you like that char-type pizza. Seriously great! The sauce was perfect! We had the garlic rolls with the marinara sauce. Yum!! I would've given it a 5 star but the service was terrible. It took an hour to get our pizzas. People came in after us and left before us. It was not crazy busy either. We went on Sunday at 5pm. One hour after we ordered. The manager should've come over. Someone should've said something. You can tell the server was nervous. We were not happy! We tried going two other times but it was too busy. My son, who is 25, says he will not go back. Maybe after the initial hype wears off and it calms down. But the management needs to step up. Our situation was poorly handled (not handled at all). Also, when it is very busy, the s ole from the oven is almost unbearable. But after all this, I would go back. Takeout maybe. But beware, takeout orders are over an hour as well. We actually couldn't get an order the day before going in. They were too busy and could not handle it. Management - be more proactive and involved.

Small Mootz pizza.

First time trying New Haven style pizza. Enjoyed and the "char" crust was decent. What excelled was the Mootz and Marinara breadsticks which were the best breadsticks we have ever had from anywhere. Will be going back for those many times in the years to come.

Simply put, a real Italian would throw this pizza at their "pizzaiolo" instead of eating it. If this is New Haven pizza, they can keep it.

We made our way to the bar where we decided to sit and was greeted by the bartender who seemed extremely stressed out. The restaurant is not busy, but the phone did seem to ring pretty frequently. I was in the mood for a beer, but the selection was very small and then they ran out of IPA. That was a bit of a disappointment and they should invest in a better beer selection. Having beer on tap is way better than bottles. So the beer was a failure so we ended up getting a bottle of Pinot Grigio which made sense since we both decided on wine. It was a good bottle for the one option. The menu has a pretty good selection and decided on the famous bruschetta and San Pierre pizza. Bruschetta- it was pretty good. I like how the bread had a nice crisp and the flavor of the tomatoes. 8/10 San Pierre- pizza was delicious. Loved all the protein and ricotta cheese combination. Next time I will request extra ricotta cheese because I love an overload. 9/10 It's definitely nice finding different locations throughout Port St. Lucie since this county is pretty large and going into small areas with these hidden gemstones was definitely a good find.

It is large and offers indoor as well as outdoor seating. I especially loved the decor and the t-shirts the staff were wearing that read "Hot Girls only need money and Pasta", it compliments my "Hot girls eat Pasta" hat We ordered the clams casino of which were tasty but a bit in the dry/overcooked side along with a salad that had mixed greens, sliced green apples, candied pecans, goat cheese and a lovely house made vinaigrette. For our entree we ordered the traditional Roman style cheese pizza. The crust was thin, and excellent sauce/cheese ratio and fresh basil. We wanted some authentic New York Italian food, I was skeptical but , we couldn't have been more pleased. Pastaio is a small authentic Italian restaurant the likes of which we have rarely seen. We grabbed 2 bar seats as we typically do. Troy was the bartender. Fantastic job. Personable and attentive. He made well crafted drinks with attention to detail. I had an old fashioned. Perfectly made , chilled and served over 1 large clear cube. My wife had a vodka/soda/ cranberry drink which was perfectly blended. To start we received a basket of bread. I normally wouldn't mention this but to call this "bread" would be an insult. This was warm delicious Tuscan Italian bread bathed in butter and covered in sharp fresh Parmesan . Literally a meal on its own. For the appetizer we went with the eggplant stack. Fantastic. Crispy eggplant , delicious authentic sauce smothered in rich mozzarella. Main course for me was homemade cavatelli in Sunday sauce. This included fall off the bone pork ribs and an incredibly authentic Italian meat ball. My 1st generation Italian family, including my mom would have loved this! My wife also had the home made cavatelli, however she chose the Cavatelli Trattoria. A delicious blend of chicken, spinach, cherry tomatoes and roasted herbs. Delicious. If you live in the Port Saint Lucie area and haven't been here and enjoyed a serious authentic Italian meal, this is your place. Ditch the Olive Garden and see what Italian food is really all about. We are anxiously awaiting our return to Florida and this is our first stop.!

Five stars is simply not enough; they need to invent a new celestial tier just for this establishment. Let's start with the pizza. It is, without hyperbole, the best I have ever consumed. I haven't been this speechless since I misplaced my remote. The crust is a triumph of engineering, the sauce is clearly made from tomatoes grown in the Garden of Eden, and the cheese... well, the cheese and I have a deep, emotional connection now. All other pizzas are merely dough coasters. The beer selection is less a menu and more a meticulously curated gallery of liquid gold. It's extensive, unique, and clearly hand-picked by someone who truly understands that life is too short for mediocre lagers. But the real magic trick? The staff. They are incredible. Attentive, personable, and possessed of a kind of warm, magnetic energy that makes you feel like you've been invited into their private, pizza-filled home. They don't just clear plates; they anticipate your needs before you've registered the thought. They're practically culinary psychics. It was, in short, a perfect dining experience. So perfect, in fact, that when it was time to leave, I seriously considered bundling them up along with any remaining slices and taking them home. Tavola, you have my money, my heart, and my highest recommendation. (Please don't call the police about the bundling comment; I'm working on my impulse control.) 5/5 Stars.
