LOL is all I have to say…read more horrible experience with a horrible POS car. my dad called it the jeep from hell and at the end we celebrated that we survived!! we booked it with one of the guys close by to the ferry terminal, but the car was just horrible. check engine light was on, the old thing needed new tires, half of the back was cracked and broken. we definitely thought the thing would not start again once we turned it off. it felt like I was in more of an ATV and not a jeep. definitely did not count as a car. in my opinion it was honestly hilarious and just created funny memories. I didn't have to drive so I was just enjoying myself in the backseat, but if you like if your life, do not rent from here !

I figured this out in retrospect. I guess they figure if you're a cruise ship tourist, you're going to leave and never come back, so they can take advantage. Here is the scam I was subject to: As soon as the pump stopped pumping, the guy told me to go check my fuel gauge. I turned to do that for some reason, but as I did, I noticed him change the amount on the pump manually to 998.98 Pesos. I immediately caught him and called him on it. He tried to bullshit me but it didn't work. He changed the amount to 504 pesos. I was going to be late to the cruise ship, and had to return the car on time, so I handed him my credit card and he charged me in that amount (in retrospect, I should have handed him less money in cash and told him to fudge himself), got it charged and walked away. I was going to buy a bottle of Almond Tequila from the duty free station before getting back on the ship. However, due to this ripoff, I decided not to do so.

He said okay, so we pulled in and the attendant came over. He accepted our credit card and asked us to watch reset the machine, we did. He filled us up with no issues. He was very quick and our car was full of gas. Employee was very nice.

And so, i paid for all the gas into my tank, as well as filling up that car too. Because i paid for more gas than the capacity of the gas tank of the VW Beetle we rented. Total ripoff artists, who give a bad rep to the wonderful folks we met on an otherwise great trip. Never scary, but fucking obnoxious assholes working there. Stay away from here.
