During my encounter with Sam, he said that perfection is impossible, but he would get me as close to perfection as possible and that is exactly what he did. From the moment I met Sam, he was nothing but straight forward and honest. I knew, after talking with him, that I did not want anyone else to do my repairs. He was my only choice. I had several things that needed repairing: he gave me some self-help remedies for the issues that did not require a professional. My kitchen ceiling was literally hanging due to an AC leak (and yes there was mold) and I also had ceiling damage in my bedroom from a leaky roof. For more reasons than one, I had not gotten the repairs fixed, which were ongoing issues. I had gotten the ceiling repaired once before, but the AC started leaking again. The 2nd time was worse than the first. I was unable to open my kitchen cabinets doors. Also, it was the first thing visitors saw when they entered my home. It was an eyesore that could not be ignored. Sam, Josh, and Cristian (who helped with the demolition part of the job) were all amazing! I do not believe that I can be any more impressed with my repairs. My ceiling in the kitchen and bedroom both look new again, one would never know how bad it was. It took three days for them to complete the job, and in those 3 days I learned so much from Sam. He is as much as an educator as he is a carpenter, it really should be a part of his retirement plan. I cannot say enough about how grateful I am to have met Mr. Sam and his sons. They are totally awesome at what they do! And that comes from the bottom of my heart!!! They made the process easy and less stressful. I would refer Sam repeatedly, hands down, because he is truly a trustworthy professional who is worth every cent that he charges! When I lived in Tampa, I had a guy I would call for virtually every single thing that ever broke or needed updating in my house. In all honesty, I used my Tampa handyman so much that it was one of the things about living in Florida that I felt like I would miss the most. So when I got settled in, I took to the Woodforest Facebook page to see who other people recommended. Fellow resident, Kevin was mentioned by multiple people, so I figured I would give him a call. He came over the next day and was ready to hang our new light and ceiling fan a couple of days after that. He did great work for a great price and actually showed up when he said he would (sadly, a rarity in this industry).
