They were extremely quick to come out and provide a quote, even an electronic option to approve the quote given. But, this is where the positives end. I approved my electronic quote and expected a call to schedule service. Two days later I followed up with a phone call. Now, here we are almost 12 days from the quote approval and 3 calls and 2 voicemails later I final get a call back. Unable to complete service for over a week and no explanation as to why I didn't receive a call back, only a half sincere apology. I would never recommend this place to anyone who expects a decent level of customer service and follow up. It's a shame, because pricing was competitive.

When we compared his estimate with his competitors, we found his to be the most competitive and fair. As he began work in replacing the vent covers, he ran into "difficulty" finding the right sizes; so, some of the scheduled tasks were delayed until he found a company with the right sizes. But he kept us well-informed during the process. He replaced all 5 of our vents and they look great! At this point, he has not attached the roof tile, but neither has he charged for that. Once that has been satisfied, we would definitely rehire!

Marlon and his team were tasked with a HUGE job, spanning through the entirety of the whole house, and including numerous drywall patches, electrical fixes and installations, and some plumbing. Marlon not only did a phenomenal job with EVERYTHING we asked for, but he did it for a very reasonable price. Marlon and his team were on-time every day they came out, were very productive during the time they were here, and communicated with us every step of the process for the 4 days they were here. Additionally, they cleaned up after themselves very well at the end of each day! I feel that Marlon is an honest, hard-working, knowledgeable contractor with a depth of expertise in numerous different areas. I will definitely be directing any home projects to him if they are outside of my own scope of comfort, and I would confidently recommend him to any of my friends, family, and strangers who are in need of a good, solid handyman/repair man/electrician/other.

The owner, Ovi, came by to give us an estimate (paint, refinish floors, reglaze counters and bath tile, hang new shutters). He had several great recommendations for cost-effective updates to increase our home value and provided a very reasonable quote. He told us it would take roughly 2 weeks to complete the work. His team finished their work 5 days ahead of schedule, and it all looked amazing. We listed our house and had 7 offers in 48 hours. Some were as high as $30K over the list price! If you want someone who is professional, does great work, and knows a ton about how to present a home, you want Home and Business Services. We couldn't be happier with their work.

Received four quotes for three major home projects: A complete master bathroom remodel, a new deck,…read moreand replacement of a drop ceiling with sheetrock and repair of a water-damaged wall in a guest bedroom. The first three quotes were from "high end" remodelers. A friend recommended Allen Geoffrey's Handyman Services to us (she had just had her bathroom remodeled). Geoff and his crew (Mark and Brian) came out to survey the jobs. They spent more time with me going over what work we wanted and what our major concerns were. They suggested a comprehensive "plan of attack" from top to bottom. We were consulted at every step of each of the projects to ensure that our expectations and design elements were incorporated. Their price quote came in thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars less than the three previous quotes. While they don't provide the design assistance of the "high end" contractors, they met us at a big box contractor store and helped us color-coordinate our design interests. They took care of ordering all the various pieces parts needed and got us a significant discount on materials. First, they replaced the deck to install flashing (that the previous home owner neglected to do), that led to the water damage in the guest bedroom. The deck was brought up to code and revealed serious problems with the previous deck installation. After the deck was done, the crew split off into two teams, one working on the master bathroom, the other, working on the guest bedroom. The crew took care of hauling off all old materials and cleaned up after each day. The work was first-rate. As with any major home project, unexpected/unforeseen problems arise. While removing the water-damaged sheetrock in the guest bedroom, major water damage was discovered to the exterior wall. Geoff gave me a very reasonable labor estimate to repair the wall. That wall is now the strongest in the house. They show up when expected, every day, until the job is done. They go beyond what is expected to ensure that the client is happy with the direction the project is headed. I highly recommend these master plumbers. I guess my highest endorsement is that, when our kitchen cabinets come in, Geoff and his crew will be doing our complete kitchen remodel (again, coming in thousands of dollars less than the high-end contractors). If you need any work done to your home, give them a call. They will not disappoint you. And, Geoff, Mark, & Brian, our new master bathroom looks and functions beyond our expectations. Thank you!
