We were roaming Wien for a small keepsake and found it in a print from 1884, depicting Schönbrunn and Gloriette, with a hand drawn passepartout, ready for framing. Took it to a frame shop around the corner (C.Bühlmayer, see separate review), and they confirmed that Antiquitäten Täuber is a very good shop for a variety of paintings and prints. So happy and would definitely return! Highly recommended!

This is a great bookstore for the antiquarian collector. They have a "showroom" on the 5th floor…read morewith a small but enticing collection on display. While you're in the showroom, they'll also lend you an ipad to review their collection online using their website. If you find something of interest, they will bring it up from their storage room on the 4th floor, so you can examine it. If you're in luck, Sarah will be there. She was so friendly and helpful (and is originally from the US, which is helpful if you prefer English). Even so, it's recommended you review their collection on their website first, so you can come in with at least a provisional list of items you'd like to see. This is not a bookstore where you should expect to peruse the stacks.

Another great second hand furniture shop. (Of which Vienna has many!)…read more Located near the famous Naschmarkt and open only on Saturdays from 11 till 15. Although they will open up on other days if you call and make an appointment. Good selection of furniture and decor mainly from the 50s. They have lots of items for sale and the goods are genuinely vintage and in good condition. The owners are friendly and open and up for a chat. Nice place, good deals, decent prices = 5 stars.
