I previously got facials pretty regularly, but had fallen off with keeping it up with all the craziness. I needed to find someone new, although I have a pretty extensive skincare routine, and I use sunscreen everyday, applying every two hours as recommended. I am however 46 currently and need all the help I can get. I had searched several estheticians, and always found myself coming back to Candace. Her salon is very easy to find, clean, comfortable, and she is most passionate and professional about her personal attention and recommendations for the health and appearance of your skin. As this was my first visit, she evaluated the current state of my skin, and made recommendations based on what I said my concerns were, and her overall evaluation. I had several milia I needed extracted, in addition to exfoliation and skin texture improvement. Obviously immediately after treatment you're a bit irritated and need to heal, so the results took a couple of weeks for me to see, but my skin looks amazing even after the first visit. As promised, I mentioned I'd write a review on my hubby's facial and we are satisfied! She walked my hubby through the whole procedure and answered his curious questions as it was his first time ever getting a facial and wow! What a difference the extraction of his blackheads and whiteheads on his nose were. It did leave some scabbing over the next few days but Candice mentioned it was normal which I'm glad that she's also available via text because I had never experienced that before myself. She didn't want to do anything too excessive on one part of his nose and made sure to be careful not to damage further. She was great with following up via text on next steps for him and also gave him a sample scrub to use to exfoliate. read more

It was my first 'skin care' appt for any type of service for me, never had a facial before, microdermabrasion, etc, or anything like that. First timer, & Candice was pretty thorough! Albeit, I don't have anybody to compare her to, lol. However, she gave me a few options based on my current skin condition and concerns. I initially wanted to do microdermabrasion, had no idea why...just thought I'd get that done to treat hyper-pigmentation. She explained to me the service, & provided me some other available options that may work for me also. I decided to go with the DERMAPLANE, 'scraping with a scalpel', service for exfoliation & removal of 'peach fuzz'. I overall enjoyed the facial/service & her initial 'new client' quote is reasonable but I don't know how much a subsequent visit for me would be. But I suppose you should invest in your skin, I plan to keep that in mind an I would definitely schedule with her again. I purchased some skin care products from her also which I've just started to get into a routine, she even personally wrote down my regimen for me. The only constructive criticism I have is that she was ALMOST too difficult to schedule with lol (perhaps because she's an independent professional, not affiliated with a corp or chain, etc..which was totally fine with me) we played phone and email tag a little bit before she could finally accommodate me for an appt. hey, it happens but just fyi for those that may give up quicker than others and may have opted to contact another person/facility after a few unsuccessful attempts to make an appt. After I research her prices, I'd definitely consider seeing her perhaps once a month if it's something I can fit into my budget. I have been to 3 dermatologists thats have put me on too many topical creams to count, pills, Accutane, and blue/red light therapy. Nothing worked and I was ready to give up. She cleansed & moisturized my face, neck & upper chest massaging the whole time. She explained the layers skin & dead cells that fall from our faces daily. Ok so where do I begin?!?! There aren't enough words to describe the experience i've had both times i came to Candice. She does a FANTASTIC job and really knows what she is doing. The first time I went there, I was very nervous. I've never had anything done on my skin and have oily, acne prone skin.
