They have a separate book department further down the high street opposite Rooks the Butchers which is very comprehensive, offering modern books at 3 for £1 or 50p each I have picked up some real bargains. i always take them back though so the charity does well! Since it's hard to get some decent vests in my country I tried my luck. Owner was very friendly, let me try several vests. Not all did fit, but two of them fit perfectly and had a nice, classic style. Nice fabric, high quality. For about 20£ each. Fair price, so I bought both of them. Did wear them many time since. Very happy with them.

Classic, good quality traditional British clothes, with a bit of history, that's warm in the winter. Gloves were surprisingly good value. Some of these traditional clothes 'make a statement' against junk clothes bought at Primark. They also use fake fur. Nice shortbread biscuits for customers to scoff at the counter. An employee brought out a fresh batch of clothes twice while I was there so there seems to be a good flow of goodies. There is a large selection of artist supplies at the back of the store. There's also quite a nice selection of cards and giftwrap. It looks very expensive, I was very pleasently surprised to find the prices were very reasonible. I found a wizard of Oz keyring for £3 that I had seen in Past Times for £5! We also bought a very lovely 3ft snowman ormament for £15, I asked my other half how much he thought it would be and we guessed around £30, I was really pleased with it for £15. They sell a great selection of paper items such as cute cards and wrapping paper, note books etc as well as Christmas decorations and gift items. I will certainly be shopping there again and would recomend it as a lovely shop to pick up something different without it costing a fourtune.

Great jeans and shirts plus pretty dresses. I would describe the shop as a cross between Urban Outfitters and Levis with really reasonably priced clothing - a great find!
