We ended up deciding to bring it here for their wash and fold service since we didn't want to waste probably the last sunny day here. Arrived close to opening time, were pleasantly greeted and asked if we could have a same day turnaround. The lady obliged, gathered our clothes, and wrote up a claim ticket. Asked approximately how much our laundry would cost and she quoted us €60 for our 3 bags. Not exactly cheap but then again the facility was clean, tidy, and close to the Hilton Opera. We couldn't figure out exactly how she came up with the quote since she just dropped the bags onto the floor (didn't see a scale on the floor). **Clothes came out smelling great but they lost a sock of mine which they later found stuck in the washer. My advice would be to make sure to take an inventory of all articles of clothing before you drop it off. I believe I saw a rate of €4.99 per kilo but that was at their second location. Still doubtful we had 14 kilos of clothes but I guess we got the "tourist rate."**

The location is handy to local hotels and the Saint Lazare Metro Station. The service was friend, polite and effective. The lady who served me (Sophie) could not have been more helpful. I had a few delicate items to me washed which were completed following the individual clothes washing instructions. Although the wash and fold service wasn't cheap (£30 for 10kgs approx) the finished laundry was clean, neatly folded and ready for my collection at the prearranged time. I would have no hesitation in using or recommending Pressing Le Maoris Pepiniere wash and fold service again whenever in Paris.

Laverie Automatique Libre Service - It gets pretty hot in here.

Overpriced coin laundry that isn't even open late, or have dryer sheets…read more The hours said it would close at 9:30pm. I wasn't sure how though since there wasn't a soul in sight. The front lights turned off at 9:28pm followed by the front door closing automatically. My wash cycle had two minutes remaining when the door closed so I stayed inside until about 10:15pm. There is a large square button to the right of the door that will let you out after hours. To use the washer: Pour detergent in top compartment and close lid. Insert clothes inside machine and close the door. Select how you want it washed. (I used "C" for synthetic-blends) Then walk over to the kiosk, insert your money and input the washing machine number. To use the dryer: Put your clothes inside machine and close the door. Select the temperature (all the way to the left is the hottest, and sll the way to tue right is for delicate heat). Walk over to kiosk, insert your money and input the drying machine number. I chose the wash cycle that would be the quickest and that was 40 minutes. The dry cycle doesn't has low, medium and high heat. For fear of shrinking my clothes, I used a medium-low setting but, of course, it then took 3 cycles at 15 minutes each to dry it all. Wash cycle is €4,40 Dry cycle is €1,60 It looks like they sell powder detergent and fabric softener as well but I didnt use it. I also didn't see dryer sheets for sale and unfortunately, I didn't bring any with me. To purchase supplies, pay at the kiosk and enter the corresponding number for the product desired. I washed one medium load* and it cost me 10,20€ (4,40€ + 1,60€ + 1,60€ + 1,60€ + the Tide I brought from home $1 = $12.58 at the current exchange rate of 0.89€ for $1USD) Medium load: 7 pairs of socks 7 underwear 7 shirts 2 pairs of shorts. If you feel comfortable leaving your belongings unattended, there is a Monoprix (France's -smaller- Walmart) at the end of tge street.
