I've been scared to death of this dead, tall, pine tree falling on my or any of my wonderful neighbors' homes the last few weeks. He was at my house in less than 20 mins after calling him for an estimate. Gave me honest thoughts, took his time explaining things to me, and quoted me an exponentially cheaper price than what I had received from other "tree guys." Quickly jumped on it and got my tree down today (morning after Christmas) in just enough time before the storm hit. Jesse was so precise on landing this tree perfectly, regardless of the obstacles around my back yard. I would recommend him a million times over. He is truly AWESOME with his "art work" of dropping trees! I promise he will do you right. THANK YOU, JESSE!

Lance Knoke responded quickly. Lance arrived on-time for a quote between his other commitments. And, after I decided to spend the money, I am super glad. I let him know I could only afford a certain amount of hours, and he got my flooring job on-time, and at a professional level. He arrived on-time/ahead of time. Great time management! Professionalism-5 star. Craftsmanship-5 star. Finally, I know a good handy-person who can take on the jobs, I'm not ready to tackle myself. A very good, honest person.

We recently hired Rogers Tree Care to remove about a dozen fire-damaged trees around our home in…read morethe Clearwater Canyon. We chose them because of our previous experience and their reasonable rates. They were professional, courteous, and fast. They left the job site perfectly clean. Forget the other guys, go with them.

My next door neighbor had an old, medium sized tree within about 2 feet of the property line and…read moreanother 2 feet to our driveway, which needed to come out. Sadly, she choose D&R Tree Service for the job. -Two trucks show up and park in front of the neighbor's property, but mostly blocking our entire small court. -Worker one steps into OUR driveway, pulls up and removes OUR camera and post off OUR property and relocates it on its side father up the driveway. -Workers chainsaw directly through the large main truck of the tree (no sissy v-cutting for them!) and purposely drop it across the adjacent four feet of property onto our driveway, filling the entire width of the driveway. -It misses our car, parked on that side of the driveway by a single foot. -The tree is the equal distance to the road, although their trucks are blocking that drop area. -The tree, being so close to the joint edge of our property also, in addition to the street, has more(way more) than sufficient room to be dropped into the neighbors yard. Now, I have an entire tree blocking a double driveway. I am not happy. I am even less happy when I discover that it has caused several holes in the concrete of a BRAND NEW DRIVEWAY COMPLETED IN JUNE. I am even less happy when our neighbor (a friend) tells us she specifically instructed them not to in any way infringe on our property. Can I get any more unhappy? Yes, the owner, who I called as soon as I tore out the door and said WTF to the workers, calls me back and is just short of rude. He's sorry, but stuff happens. If I'll just let him give our information to "his cement guy" (who knew a Tree Service would have cement guys on call!?) he'll get it repaired - sometime. Apparently, he is miffed at the neighbor when he finds out he won't be paid for the work (demanded from her as soon as I made the very first call, smacking of a quite some desperation) until we are all satisfied with the resolution of the problem THEY CAUSED. Duh. Needles to say, under no circumstances would I recommend D&R Tree Service.

I'm still shocked by my experience with Paul Davis/Affordable Janitorial. I hired Paul to help with…read moreseveral parts of my cross-country move: apartment cleaning, junk/donation removal, and transferring my storage unit. I asked several times if he could handle everything, and he confidently assured me he could. When I had to reschedule the cleaning because I wasn't ready, I took responsibility, paid the requested deposit, and even added a tip for the inconvenience. Paul later completed a separate junk/donation haul, which I paid him for. The problem came with my storage move. We were scheduled for 11 a.m. The morning of, Paul told me he was trying to get his truck started and would call me back. He never did. I called and texted several times over the next few hours with no response. I even told him, "If you can't make it today, that's totally okay. I just need to know so I can make other arrangements." Still nothing. This was the day before I was leaving Pullman for good. He was also supposed to clean my apartment and never communicated about that either. Thankfully, my friends and even strangers stepped up and helped me get everything done. What really got me was discovering another review describing an almost identical no-show/no-communication experience. Paul had actually mentioned that review to me beforehand. Whew... if that wasn't God trying to tell me something. Paul also still owes me my deposit for services he did not complete. To be fair, I am NOT disputing what I paid him for the hauling work he actually performed. I don't write this with bitterness, and I genuinely wish Paul and his business well. Things happen. Trucks break down. People get overwhelmed. But communicate with your customers, and if you don't provide a service they paid toward, return their money. If you hire Affordable Janitorial for something time-sensitive, based on my experience, have a backup plan. And if any of y'all know Paul, do me a favor. I'm never talking to that man again after he did me like that , but just ask him one question for me: "Paul... why you do that lady like that!?" Then come back under this post and let me know what he said. Thanks in advance.
