I guess at rock flew at my windshield underneath the wipers and one day after class, I noticed a six inch crack on the windshield! Must have been because the weather when from chilly to really hot, but I left it alone for a little while and the crack grew a little more. Then a few days ago the same thing happened to the weather and the once 6 inch crack had grew to like 2 feet! So, I knew it was time to finally call someone to fix it. I scoured yelp looking the right place to replace my windshield. Out of all the places, AG Auto Glass had one of the most competitive prices and best reviews on yelp. Compared to safelite autoglass, it saved me about $100. So, yesterday I called Glen, the owner, at 9 in the morning and he was at my house by 1 in the afternoon. He's a really nice guy and knows what he's doing. After two hours he was done with my windshield. He was very professional and I would totally recommend him to anyone else that needed a windshield replaced. read more

Glen came over to my house today and replaced the windshield of my Jeep; it took a little less than an hour. Very knowledgable, honest and friendly person, he even cleaned and tightened up my rear view mirror that was loose. The glass is good quality at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended and would use again if needed. Thank you Glen. read more

Last week Glen came over to my location in Encinitas and replaced the gasket on both the front and back windshield of my 1957 Chevy Bel Air. He took his time and did the job that 9 other local glass folks were not willing to do. I waited for a few days to do this review because I wanted to have the car washed to check for leaks. I am happy to say that not a drop of water entered the car even though I asked them to spray around the glass a lot more than normal. If you have a classic car that needs the windshield and or gasket replaced he is the guy to turn to. Don't waste your time with anybody else. read more

My daily driver (accord) was broken into on the front passenger side window. Glass was EVERYWHERE inside the car. I did a little clean up, taped the window up as a temp fix and left the car at my parents house until I had time to get it taken care of. AG quoted me a few bucks cheaper than the other people I called but AG was mobile, recommended on here and looked to be based out of CV where my car was at so I figured Id give Glen my business. He came out on a Saturday morning, gave me a couple warnings about a possible issue we might run into with my specific vehicle during the replacement/repair and then he went to work. It took him no more than an hour to finish everything, that included him vacuuming the inside of my car that still had some glass inside AND he cleaned off all the sticky residue from the tape I used to temp seal the window. Its been a few weeks and the window works just as good as it did before! Im my opinion Glen went above and beyond. For the price and service you wont find anything better. read more

I had a brand new TSX and I saw a small crack in the windshield due to a road hazard. I immediately called AG Auto Glass and I talked to Glen and gave me a very competitive quote. Glen is very professional and had 30 years experience, besides all that he is very convenient he can meet you anywhere from your home, work or even while you shop at a local grocery store or mall. I took my car to his place and he explain that good thing that I noticed my cracked windshield right away before it gotten worse. It took about a little over 30 min because he treated my car like it was his and he did not stop until it was in to a perfect fix. I highly recommend AG Auto Glass to everyone because Glen is the best in the business. If you want great customer service, convenience and great price, AG Auto Glass is the place to be and Glen is the man!!!! Thanks again for an excellent job to perfection. read more

My passenger side window had been shattered by some jerk(s). I called AG Auto Glass after seeing other reviewers on Yelp rave about them. Glen quoted me a price and time for him to arrive. He was on time and ready to roll right when he said he would be. I brought him to my car and he said it'd take him a solid hour to knock it out. Again, he was as good as his word. I can't ask for much more than all of that. read more

Glen met me to install a windshield in my 63 Falcon. He was very familiar with the older cars. Hard to find nowadays. Had my old windshield out and the new one in in no time. I will use him for all my glass needs, give him a try you won't be sorry. read more

Great customer service! I initially called owner for a quote since I was shopping around. 2hours after my initial call I decided to go with this company and called them back for an appointment. When I called the owner he indicated he was anticipating I would call back and had already picked up the car window that needed to be replaced. The owner gave me a same day appointment and replaced my window in less than 1 hour. Owner returns calls within 10 minutes and is very professional. Will definitely do business with AG Auto Glass again if I need car windows replaced. read more

I wanted to find the right glass company. This was the perfect company. Glenn was very professional and was able to drive to my house and do the install. He explained to me quality of the glass vs the knock offs. I work for Mitchell International which the glass shop uses our software. This I knew that the AG Glass had a good reputation. I will definitely do business with them again! read more

AG Auto Glass - Auto Glass Services Near Me - Chula Vista, California

The best Auto Glass shop in town. Worked on my 66 Galaxie 500 rear windshield and did a fantastic job. I had taken my whip to pete at the mustang shop to have my glass installed and a few other things and he f'd it up. Not only did he do a piss poor job, pete is a piece of shet. If you want someone that's going to take the time to do things right have Glen do it. You won't be disappointed. read more

Glen is a very friendly and knowledgable window man. You can tell he knows exactly what he's doing and he takes his time. No rush jobs here. He does everything from cracks to full replacement. He showed up promptly when he said he would and took how long he said he would. I called around to other places for repair and constantly got the run around. Glen fit me in and took great care of me. Even washed the inside and outside of the windshield when he was done. Stop looking around and call him today. You won't be disappointed. read more

We have a large fleet of disel tractors that Glen has serviced for years and have received nothing but the best. Service, price, knowledge, professioalism - just doesn't get any better. So, when I had to replace a windshield on my Mercedes Benz, he was the one I naturally called. As usual, Glen came on time and installed the windshield within an hour. Buying a new windshield sucks, but Glen will ease the pain. And, Adriana (his wife) is a sweetie and knows her stuff. Highly recommend AG Auto Glass. Thanks for keeping us trucking! read more

I called this company at 8AM in the AM and asked for a quote to replace a wind shield on my Ford Ranger. The quote given to me was 20 dollars less then a quote that I received from another company. AG Auto Glass came to my residence were the Ranger was parked and replaced the wind shield while I was at work and not present. Upon completion they called me for my CC information. When I came home I found the Truck clean and with a shiny new wind shield. Thanks AG- Great service and job. read more

My story is that I parked my car in a parking lot on Saturday. When I left it there was nothing wrong with my window. The next day I notice this shatter spot like a rock hit it. Meanwhile there is a rocky open area across from where I parked and many people hanging out over there listening to people sing. So I go online to get some quotes to repair it. I ended up going with another company at first because they called first. So when their repairman tried to fix the spot it ended up cracking the whole windshield!!! So angry with them I call Adriana back and explained my situation and she helped me through it because I was so upset!! Glen came to my work with in a few hours to replace my windshield so I wouldn't get a ticket. Very friendly and very experienced and I am very happy!! Thanks Adrianna and Glen!! read more

Was quoted $120 less than the major competitor in the area. Glen came during the agreed time and installation for a new windshield took about an hour and a half. I just got my windshield replaced since there was a huge crack down the middle. I left a message on their voicemail to get a return call from Glen and was able to schedule an immediate appointment for the following morning. He was on time and got the job done quickly with no hesitation. AG Auto Glass was reliable and affordable. Their prices were much lower than other competitors. I would definitely use them again. read more

Shattered my passenger window on the way to work in Chula Vista. I called AG and the Glen called me right back. I'm a teacher, so my schedule revolves around recess and lunch. Glen timed his visit perfectly and worked around my schedule. He finished right as lunch was ending. No fuss no muss. Couldn't have have been more satisfied. Price was very reasonable as well. Hopefully, I won't need his services again. But if I do, I know I'll be taken care of. read more

My car got broken into and I needed my window fixed. Turns out that it's not easy or cheap to find a window for my 2008 two door Toyota Yaris. These people gave me the second best quote and I decided to go with them because they were able to fix it within a few hours. : ) Which is just what I wanted. Adriana was very helpful and Glen was super fast, both very nice. They go to you which is a great service since I was at work. read more

This is the preferred glass company my insurance company uses so I chose to do the repair with them. I was given a time window from 1-5 really the cable company doesn't even given that long of a time. At 4:58 pm I still have not heard from them & currently on hold waiting to find out when & if my window will ever get fixed. Horrible customer service & I will not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Very good job replacing windshield in my frontier 05, was replaced in under an hour, good quality of installation. I would recommend it 4 sure! I based on the yelp reviews to call for service and truthfully it came up that I did a great selection Thanks for your professional work! read more

Glen is as good as it gets. He's done 2 windshield replacements for me over the last few years on different vehicles and both times he's been professional, courteous and is a genuinely stand up guy. He gave me an immediate quote, letting me know what else was needed, the soonest he could be out to replace my windshield and how long it should take. Quality glass, great pricing, expert installation and on-time to both of my appointments. I began recommending him to people after my first replacement and will continue to recommend him. He backs his installation work 100% too. Seriously. Deal with AG and Glen when that day comes - the day when you hear that TINK on your glass, spot the crack and get mad, but then become oddly obsessed with watching the crack slowly grow. Call Glen once that's no longer entertaining. Or you can't see. Whichever comes first. read more

AG autoglass is THEE very best of it's kind! Glen always does quality work and NEVER has any problems! We use him at our body shop for all our glass needs. Glen provided excellent service and recommendations regarding my 95 Impala SS. I needed the front windshield replaced but was thinking about also replacing the rear window. Glen came out and took a look at the rear window and recommended removing the left-over glue. This saved me 300+ dollars. He replaced the front windshield and his work was excellent. His honesty about the rear window went a long way with me and now I recommend hin to all my friends and family. read more

My experience with AG Auto Glass is nothing short of exemplary. Their prices are competitive and their service is outstanding. Somebody broke my car window Saturday night, I discovered it Sunday morning. Nobody open until Monday morning, and after a few calls I spoke with Glen and not only did he give me the best quote, he said he could be down to replace my window in two hours! He arrived exactly on time and after a brief survey of the car went to work immediately. Glen said it would take about an hour, and the entire process took maybe a little bit longer. Excellent experience; I would recommend AG Auto Glass to anybody needing glass replacement for their vehicle. read more

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!! The owner, Glen, is the installer so you are only dealing with one person. Excellent communication, very friendly and very thorough. I had a crack in my windshield and wanted to fix it right away so I called around and found AG. Glen uses high quality glass not cheap stuff from China so he explained that his material costs might be a little higher. But I only had a $100 deductible with my insurance so I wanted to get the highest quality anyways. Adriana, his wife is in charge of billing. She's great too. She got my insurance carrier on the phone and took care of billing right away, correcting mistakes that my insurance carrier had made. Glen came out to my house the same day I called! He was super nice and very professional. He got right to work and finished in a timely manner. He was so cool that he even helped me fix a dome light in my wife's car when he was out. Most guys would just roll their eyes at you at such a request. Great guy, great customer service! It's so nice to know that there are still some businesses out there that have good customer service and treat the customer well. For a great experience, quality workmanship and a hassle free experience I highly recommend AG Glass!! THANKS! read more

Bought a new car 6 days ago and a small rock hit the windshield. Saw the great reviews for AG and decided to go there first. Great service! Glen is a great guy who takes pride in his work, doesn't rush and does the job right. I don't easily give out a 5 star, but this guy deserves it. A real artist! I had Glen replace the windshield in my 63 Nova wagon. It has stainless/chrome trim that has to be embedded into the weatherstrip before install. I just had some work done to my car last Friday & all I can say is that I will always call Glen for any kind of auto glass/power window repair!!! This is the the third time he's done work on my cars; had a problem w/ two of the windows he did work (probably defect on a part) on close to two years ago; he stands behind his work, he replaced the motors on both windows & didn't try to "empty my wallet"!!! He's super friendly, professional and is just an absolute pleasure to do business with!!! As I said earlier, I will always call him when I need this type of work done & I will be sure to refer anyone to him who needs the same!!! I hope this review will help!!! Thanks Glen for the great work and for being so kind!!! read more

Only fixed half the crack refused to come out and check the half ass work. Very upsetting.

AG Auto Glass has a great team! They are very helpful, efficient and go the extra mile! Adriana helped me with an insurance detail, and communicated exactly how my job would be handled, informing me of a slight time change of appointment.. Glen got the glass replaced right away - working around an ignition switch problem my car had. Glen even recommended someone to switch out the ignition; he also did some research to advise me of a fair price range for the bids I was getting. Turned out his recommendation was excellent - with a price lower than any I had found. Thank you big time Adriana and Glen!! read more
