I had Chris and his abatement team abate two 5' x 4' bathrooms in my downtown condo. This was a…read morevery small project and seemed like a pretty quick job for a team of professionals. We agreed on a $6k price point when we talked in person and then all of a sudden it jumped to a little under $10k for the work. It was s ridiculous because he knew I was in a pinch and I had to get the work done quickly. He would abate the bathroom and then leave the shower pan and tub in there after we agreed that they would remove everything. I practically had to beg them to finish the work that I was paying a crazy amount of money for. Anyways, after the work was said and done (about 1 month longer than expected) My ceilings were damaged, they put a hole in the wall that was connected to the guest bedroom and they some how screwed up plumbing too and my shower leaked everywhere when I turned it on. All in all, I spent another $2k fixing his and his teams mistakes. I held out on paying the down payment for the job because he did not notice he is careless. I asked him if he would take any responsibility for the damages to my home. No response. Fast forward 3 months to today... He put a lien on my place with no calls, emails, or final warning. These people are not truthful, unreliable, careless, and super shady and I highly suggest not using them!
