I had opportunity to call Aftermath Cleanup and Hauling to haul away 2 recliners and a small amount of cardboard... I spoke to the owner Eric and he was seriously very polite... He thanked me multiple times for the opportunity to have my business and offered a very reasonable rate for haul away.. Eric then advised me his crew would be there at 8:30 am... The crew who was this very nice couple arrived around 8:31 am and apologized to me for being late... (traffic) I was so impressed as I did not think 8:31 am was late by any means... They were so very polite, professional, and very efficient... I told Eric this as well... I cannot remember a time that I have encountered such politeness and a genuine appreciation for my business from any business owner... I will, moving forward, use no other company except Aftermath Cleanup and Hauling for my haul away needs... read more

Robby and Jaiden came to haul away the construction trashes. They were friendly and quick.

Robby has been here twice and was so pleasant and helpful. He was here first thing in the morning and got the work done and was on his way.

I can't recommend Aftermath Cleanup and Hauling enough. After meeting with a few contractors and companies to clean up a very messy and cluttered property in Lebec, we were very glad that we decided to go with Eric and ACH. The site was at the top of a hill with only a very narrow and windy dirt road to the top. The logistics of getting these large trucks and hauling bins up there looked almost impossible. They quoted that the job would take about 2 days, yet they where able to get it done in a little over a day. I was very satisfied with the professionalism and friendliness. If you're looking for the best company and the best value, ACH. I can't recommend them enough! read more

This past weekend I was up in Bakersfield visiting my sister. They recently moved into a new house there. We had a little 'demo' project in their backyard of removing an old fence and storage shed left by the previous owners. We piled everything up in a nice stack and talked about needing to get a dumpster delivered some time soon to throw all the 'junk' away. They had done that once already and the process was just a hassle! Then I thought to look on yelp for a junk removal company to see how much that would cost. I called ACH on Saturday afternoon and talked to Eric. He was very professional and easy to deal with. I offered to send him a couple pictures of the 2 piles we had. He texted me back a quote within a hour or so and offered to come do the work on Monday. He followed up later that evening by text to try and schedule the work. I appreciated the follow up and quick replies since that type of service is RARE these days!! We scheduled the work for 5pm on Monday. Eric showed up right on time and got the work done. I wasn't there but my sister told me he was super professional and friendly. She even asked him to take a large plant that she recently removed and didn't have room for in the trash can. He did it no problem. Great service! We were both very satisfied and would definitely recommend you call Eric if you need this type of service. Much better than paying to have a dumpster delivered to your yard and dealing with all that!!! read more

I used Eric and his crew for a few tasks. I needed a house yard cleanup and stump ground down for a rental. We also needed the fence fixed in an area for the same house. Eric and his crew were very friendly and thorough. I even had my neighbors asking for their info! The job was done well and it was done right. I recommend these guys to anyone that needs any range of things done. read more

We are renovating our backyard and had quite a bit of junk and yard waste that was going to take me forever to get rid of. I decided to use a cleanup service despite not having used one before. Initially I called a different service and that service stood me up twice in one day without explanation or apology. The next day I called Eric and his team with Aftermath and he was willing to come out the same day to give me a quote, or offered to do so virtually with photos. I went with the photo option. He quoted me a very fair price for the amount of debris I needed removed, and his crew came out that same morning to do the job. They checked it was done to my satisfaction before leaving (which I really appreciated). I am very happy with the whole transaction from start to finish, and I am happy to recommend Aftermath to my friends and neighbors for friendly and fairly priced service. Thank you Eric! read more

I'm so happy I found Eric on Yelp. Eric and his team did an amazing job on my property! He was able to help me fix my rental property for a reasonable price. I don't live in Bakersfield but Eric would send me daily email updates. I include before and after pictures and some of the pictures he emailed me to keep me updated on the progress of the work. I'm so thankful for everything he did and he really lifted a lot of stress off my shoulder. When we did the final walk through of the house I couldn't believe it was my house, it looked like a completely different house. Thank you for everything Eric! read more

These guys really hit it out of the park in cleaning up my yard, removing two sheds, a Jacuzzi with an attached shelter, a chain link fence complete with all footings, and all surrounding brush in both the front and back of the house. Service was promptly scheduled, and the crew was polite, professional, and efficient. Even though they ran out of time to finish the job the first day, they wasted no time to make good on their promise to come back and finish. I am very satisfied with Aftermath and would definitely recommend them. read more

A great job! Not only were they on time but a day ahead of schedule! I had to do some scrambling to move some stuff I was keeping but all of the staff were helpful and accommodating. I am extremely impressed with the level of customer service, the quality of the work done and the speed at which these guys get the job done. This is what you get when you hire professional! Eric, Kenneth and CJ absolutely blew my mind with how fast and professionally they accomplished us downsizing our home to prep for a move. Within 2 hours everything was packed up tight, in what would have been an all day ordeal for me to do myself. They are top notch. -Andy Palmer read more

I cannot say enough about Eric and the ACH team! Eric responded quickly to my quote request and was able to come the next morning! I just moved into a new home and had several miscellaneous items left from the previous owners, a lot of concrete blocks, 30+ large trash bags of wood-chips that I needed hauled away AND some really stubborn shrubs and rose bushes in the front that needed to be removed. These guys worked their butts off and beyond exceeded my expectations. They even cleaned up the remaining wood chips left in my yard and left the place spotless. I am so incredibly happy with their work and feel so relieved to have everything taken care of. I will definitely be using them again and would recommend them to my family and friends. Thank you so much again guys! read more

Eric totally exceeded our expectations. From his prompt response to phone calls to being very promptly and courteously. He has very reasonable pricing. Dealing with him was a pleasure. We even had him come back after our move was completed. After carting off the remainder of our junk, he swept out the garage so it would be more presentable for the new owners. I recommend him, without reservation. read more

Recently used this company to provide dumpster & hauling services in Bakersfield. I cannot say enough about this company and the people who provide the services. Their pricing was fair (contracted for a 30 yard dumpster with labor to fill),the guys were prompt, great attitude, worked exceptionally well together and were extremely fast in doing the trash loading and cleaned up after themselves when finished. I strongly recommend this company and would use them again in the future, Eric (owner) is prompt in returning your call and provides pricing alternatives if you ask for various scenarios. Nothing but positive things to say about these guys. Used them to move our 4 bedroom house into storage, and to haul a bunch of junk away that we didn't need anymore and they were a one stop shop. After looking for several contractors here on yelp and sending out quote requests for work in my home there was one contractor that responded quickly to my concerns. I was having issues finding someone that would travel to my area (McFarland) to do the work in my home which was damage from a previous contractor I had hired to upgrade my home. Eric responded and said they could help he came over quickly and did an evaluation of the issues in the house he talked to me about his recommendations and brought some of his team members to see if these would be possible. I must say my house was also in escrow so I needed the work done fairly quickly. Him and his team made it all possible they each came to do the part of work that pertained to them Eric texted me and called me through the whole process he gave me updates and always notified me when something had to be done and provided enough notice of when they would arrive. His price was very reasonable for all the work they did and the they did an EXCELLENT job. I would HIGHLY recommend him and his team I would definitely use him in the future!!!!! Here are some pics of the work if there were 10 stars I'd rate 10! read more

I work for Tuft & Needle, based out of Phoenix, Arizona, but had a customer in Bakersfield needing her old mattress removed. The previous company we hired to remove the mattress flaked out on us and didn't answer any of our calls or voicemails when we called to find out what was going on. Eric from ACAH was so kind and helpful! He agreed to pick it up for us the next day and communicated with the customer. He made it easy and our customer called in to let us know what a kind and helpful guy he was. We will definitely use Aftermath Cleanup and Hauling again when we have a need in the Bakersfield area! As a company that is known for their customer service, I can honestly say that ACAH values its customers and treats them like family. read more
