THANK YOU to Aftermath Barber shop for saving the day and my sanity! I made an appointment for 9am with another hair salon to do a simple hairstyle for my daughter's 15th birthday party. We waited 10 minutes, then 15, then 30 minutes and the hairstylist was a no-show. No call, nothing. My stress level went through the roof. I started searching online, calling and driving around, looking for other hair salons, who were available, all of them were booked. We stopped at a hair salon and asked if they could style my daughter's hair, but they were also booked. My daughter walked into a barbershop, asked the first person she saw if she could style her hair for her birthday party. This young lady, Dianna G. saved my daughter's day and my sanity! First time here and i was able to book an appointment last minute with Dianna on Saturday. I was beyond skeptical at first to try any other place than my regular barber, but my barber was out of town. As soon as I arrived i was immediately greeted by her as i entered the place. As soon as i was seated, she asked what type of haircut i wanted, and i explained a skin fade with a light trim on the top. The experience was great, she was very talkative and engaging throughout the entire haircut which was very nice. I truly appreciate the last minute appointment i was able to get just hours before an engagement party i needed to attend within the next 4hrs. Seeing a brand new barber shop off of Indiana between Tyler and Van Buren... I had to check it out.! Turns out Arlington High School alumni friend of mine Oscar started the shop! Huge flatscreens catch the eye as soon as you get in, great seating, and a generous amount of barbers on set. I personally have been getting my cuts from Victor the last 4 times and it's been nothing short of perfect. I will update with photos next time I go. Definitely worth a try! competitive pricing, cool atmosphere. My haircut adds up to I believe $20-25 with the beard line-up. Super clean, spacious and nice barbershop. The location has a huge parking lot so parking is always easy. There's 8 barbers who work here. They sell hair products and hats as well. I've been getting my haircut from Gilbert and JP for the last 8 years plus... since Casa Rivera and Original's... They give great cuts, so I go where they go. once you find a great barber you stick with them. Aftermath is by far the best compared to the others, large location with plenty of parking. Very poor communication skills and customer service skills, I called before arriving and asked if they were talking "walk ins". I was told they are taking "walk ins until 4pm". So I show up around 1pm, just to be told they are not taking walk ins. I specifically called before arriving to make sure they were talking walk ins, but once I got to the barber shop, I was told they are not taking walk ins. What a complete waste of my time and gas, considering I drive from another city to try a new barber shop. Be careful coming to this barbershop. read more

I have been coming to this barber shop since it first opened back in August and my experience has always been great! Before coming here, I used to cut my own hair and only go every so often due to my lack of trust in barbers, but the ones who work at this location definitely know what they're doing. Jacob, Oscar, and everyone else at the shop will make your haircut experience the best, so good you'll have to come back The wait isn't long (they do take appointments), they have a pool table/television to keep you occupied, and the overall vibes of the shop are modern. 10/10! read more

This barber shop is one I highly recommend to anyone! The ambiance is welcoming and friendly. It's a new shop owned by Oscar Martinez he did a great job with the set up and the staff. All of the barbers are easy going and laid back. I always set my appointments with JP, his cutting skills are exceptional. He cuts my hair and beard exactly how I want it, I never have any complaints about his work. They accept walk-ins as well but I would strongly suggest making an appointment. First time coming here today and my boyfriend had his haircut by the female barber (dianna) and he will NEVER be back. He asked for a number 3 low fade and she took a whole hour to have it look like a straight 3 all the way around. She told me the total and I handed her the cash waiting for my change and a few seconds later she looks up and asked if I wanted my change... YOU GAVE MY BF TO ME LOOKING LIKE HE PULLED A BRITTNY SPEARS AND YOU THINK YOU DESERVE A TIP FOR THAT?!?! I was so in shock I told her to keep it. It wasn't until we got to the car and talked about how much we collectively hated it and he went back in to get it redone.. the audacity goes further when I then mention I didn't like the cut she said 'yea I know right I was thinking it looked a little weird' GIRLLLL IF YOU KNEW IT WAS BAD WHY WOULD YOU SEND HIM OUT LIKE THAT AND THEN ASK IF I WANT CHANGE. Then it took her over an hour just to give him a low fade so we have been sitting there for 2 hours at that point and at the end of it she asked to take a picture of his hair... It's funny how she asked for a pic the second time after she actually had to fix it and actually make it look decent and not the first time where she COMPLETELY MESSED HIS SHIT UP. He also told her no and she then turned him away from the mirror and took the picture all sly anyway... the other barbers looked like there were doing their job but do not get your hair cut by her she on some other shit.. Been going since they opened great place good service always pleased with my haircut but they raised there prices was $20 and raised it to $30 so probably won't be going back thats a big jump specially if your tipping which now puts you at $35-$40 out the door. read more
