Valerie and Irwin were always so supportive. I arrived everywhere early (much needed in the unpredictable medical world), and was able to have all the comforts of home. I want to express the highest regard and recommendation for After,After Care. Valerie was not available for my late service request. Irwin, her husband answered the call. He showed up early at my hotel and got me to my appointment with time to spare. When I was ready to leave after waking up from my procedure, Irwin was there with welcome drinks and snacks since I hadn't eaten or had anything to drink since the previous night. Irwin expressed several times that he was there to help me get along, make sure I was comfortable and any needs taken care of. Just let him know and it would be taken care of. He drove me back to the hotel after my procedure, stayed with me a while to make sure I was ok and as he left restated that if I needed anything to let him know. He texted me a couple hours later to check that I was doing ok. While I experienced the outstanding level of care from Valerie in the past, I would not hesitate to engage the services of Irwin should the need arise in the future. read more

Valerie from After, After Care was so patient and informative about the recovery process that I had to drop my skepticism and hire her. At first I thought I would need only a 4 hour after care, but Valerie came prepared knowing I would need her overnight. I don't know what I would have done without her help. So happy with my experience! I was thoroughly taken care of and Valerie was wonderful company to have especially during a time I needed extra comfort!! I had my first surgery a little over a week ago and I was a little nervous because I didn't really know the details of what to expect post surgery (I had rhinoplasty). When I was referred to Valerie it seemed like an interesting option and once I spoke on the phone with her I realized it was EXACTLY what I needed. She totally eased any nerves because now I knew I had someone who knows the ins and outs to be there for me. Planning an upcoming surgery can be very stressful. Not when you have Valerie and Michele assisting you with all of details. From the very start Michele coached me in order to understand the questions I would need to ask during my consultations and referred me to 3 surgeons who specialized in the procedure I was interested in having. Valerie went with me to my consultations to make sure I had all of my questions answered and everything would be in order so I would be prepared. Originally i was referred by my surgeon to other home health agencies. However they weren't prompt with the scheduling. Luckily I found this company through Yelp. When i called, Valerie was able to assist and book my appointment immediately. During the day of the surgery Valerie picked me up from my house early morning as we agreed. She drove me to the surgery center 40 minutes before the surgery to avoid the monday traffic jam. She stayed with me to make sure i made it inside the operating room. After the surgery, Irwin(Valerie's coworker) drove me home, assisted me as i walked towards my room and gave me protein smoothies to help with recovery. I had scheduled a surgery and thought that my Mom would be able to help me. I stayed at an after care facility for the first 24 hours, but really felt I needed extra help once I got home. My Mom did not feel like she could do some of the things that were necessary. The coordinator at my surgeon's office recommended Valerie and After, After Care. Valerie was so right when she said that family and friends are not always the best choice to take care of you after surgery.
