Put tile along side of vanity to cover up exposed wood ; grout on floor. NEVER FINSHED hooking up my vanity ; running water. Master bathroom grout all over the place on the moldings and floor, broke two ceramic coner shelves; title kept falling of walls had to redo the master shower three times. There was a square hole cut in our master bathroom linen closet ; understand had to get to the pipes. But the mess was never cleaned up and the wife had balls to say that we the home owner would be charged for that. It's not up to the home owner to pay for his mess or hole he made. Now our shelves in there are broken. We also wanted a doggie door installed into the wall in our living area ; mr. Rick bought a doggie dog that you install into the door instead of buying one you install into the wall. If he didn't know they made such a thing he should have asked or research it. We wanted two walls taken down; which he did the mudd was put on thick and not even. Last but not least we wanted a 2 ft pony wall put inbetween the living area and the dining room for separation. The came out to be 18 inches put over the carpet, and the molding on the one side is bent and not even straight. OUR TOOLS WERE USED WITHOUT PERMISSION such as our sanding sponges, putty scrapers, HOUSEHOLD VACCUME to clean Sheetrock dust, we had bought a little tub of spackle GONE. OUR SNACKS in the ref. we're eaten WITHOUT PERMISSION. Missing receipts. I can keep going on and on. When we told his wife that we were very dissatisfied all she was kept alopogizing , it seemed like she didn't care and didn't go out of her way to correct the problem. These people seemed like they had no pride in there work they were doing. NEVER AGAIN will I recommend them.

Two very qualified fellows showed up and efficiently installed everything for a fair price (make sure you know what you're doing when engaging in a "labor-only" deal, as you MUST supply every last nut and bolt). ProTech has also stood behind its warranty on the first set of mini-splits that it installed. This can be a fairly tricky area, and it's good that ProTech has got techs who've been around long enough to amass the experiential knowledge that figures into system longevity. A word about Heating and Cooling systems and customer satisfaction: A lot can go into making a customer happy. I've seen instances where an HVAC company installed a new system and yet it just didn't cool enough -- but the problem was with leaky duct work in the attic, something the homeowner just didn't want to address but instead blamed the latest guy to come along. Other times, an installer just didn't pay attention and overtightened a critical joint, or failed to properly flare a connection. Sometimes a customer gripe is justified, sometimes not. Simple ignorance and neglect can cost both money and reputation. It's thus critical to hire a company that sends highly expertised techs to your home or business. One wrong move can doom you to a lot of aggravation. I'm grateful that ProTech, while not cheap, has got quality staff (they even advised me on what brands to stay away from when I opted to buy a system online for them to install) -- right down to the pleasant gals who answer the phone. No one has tried to snow me, and ProTech validates the "you get what you pay for" maxim. One final tip: Search for "how to install" videos of the HVAC system you're thinking of, then watch them. Often they'll contain tips on installation mistakes and improved ways of doing things. I did that for my latest mini-split system, then watched ProTech's guys install it. Without getting in their way, I asked them about each video tip/warning, and they patiently explained each part of the process as they went. I came away satisfied that I got the best possible installation for a top-rated system.

Communication was great, every time I called he either picked up the phone or called me back quickly, he was always so patient explaining what was needed and why. All of them went beyond what was expected or required. The materials they used were top quality so that I would never have another problem. The tile was laid so beautifully and much of the floor had to be laid down one piece at a time. The frame is so expertly mitered and joined. They cleaned everything up perfectly afterward. It was all a perfect experience. I would not hesitate to have them again or recommend them to anyone.

I had hired this contractor to renovate my house and add a detached garage. I had assumed a…read moreconstruction loan for this project which would not pay until an invoice was sent, and an inspection was completed. I had to pay for each inspection individually. Me being a contractor, in a different field, had knowledge of the proper order of procedure for this project to be completed properly. In the initial meeting, addressing the issue of a dip in the floor was my main concern. I was assured that it was no problem. When it came time to the actual repair, he told me that he did not know how to fix it. So, I had to fix it myself. Also, I had to go back over his extremely shotty workmanship on the sheet rock, the painting, and the plumbing as he continued to drag his feet through this project over an 8-month period. He constantly wanted me to pay him before the actual payment was sent from the lender. Which I did to help him out because of his lack of funds. Big red flag! He was unable to keep the proper information and paperwork to the lender, in a timely manner, to keep the payments flowing. Needing to move back in, I worked nights and weekends, in the house, to get it to livable conditions. I paid his last invoice of nearly 12,000.00 and have not been reimbursed from the lender because of his lack of completion of just the renovation itself. After being ghosted for a couple of months, he finally responded with a text stating that it was too much of a hassle to send invoices and have his work inspected before payment. The garage was never even started. I have wires for the exterior lights hanging out of my house. I tried my best to help this fellow to complete this project by buying and delivering materials, cleaning up his constant messes, going over his work, paying him out of my pocket, and being patent with his procrastination of completing just the renovation. I hope no other homeowner has to go through this. Beware!
