They saved the day! After being hacked and almost loosing an incredible amount of money between the hackers and the bank Affordable Geeks were able to restore my two mobile phones and my laptop. The young man who came to my home ( Bryce) was respectful, honest, patient and thoughtful. He spent time on the laptop at the home and then took it away to the office and returned it the next day. We knew exactly how much to pay, which was $110 per hour and a maximum of 2 hours so therefore $220. He also checked the two external hard drives. My mother used this business because her PC had lost its connection to her wifi printer. The so called "technician" obviously didn't have any idea what he was doing... because the solution he suggested after he turned up 3 times over that week... each time charging her 120 dollars was to pull out the power cord from the back of the printer and plug it back in every time the PC was turned on. He also suggested that she buy a new printer. The following week she had trouble with her Netflix so she called a different technician. He fixed the Netflix problem and then had the sense to ask if any other devices were malfunctioning. She mentioned her printer problems and he quickly diagnosed and fixed that too. I called these guys to help me with sharing files on different computers through the same network, fairly easy job, no trouble shooting, just help me set it up correctly. The guy was extremely slow, if I wasn't watching over his shoulder, he wasn't working, just looking like he was. Even when he was going the work, it was so slow that it was frustrating to just watch. He then took 20 mins to write up the invoice which was added to the time charged which was a complete scam. He is a computer expert but does one finger typing.... The next day, my computer stopped working and I've had dramas ever since, keep in mind, it was a brand new computer and only used for a week.
