That didn't happen. The carpet was not damp, it was wet when he finished. His walking on the wet carpet in his black soled shoes left footprints throughout my house on the tile floors. The overflow hose with dirty water and chemicals was put in one of our bushes, I hope it doesn't die. Won't use them again. My Bissell carpet cleaner does a better job and extracts my moisture than their equipment.
