Most recently my Mom and I dropped by on a Sunday afternoon to do a little shopping. The employee Julia was so kind and even stayed after the shop closed to allow us to browse a bit more! She showed us a table of designer denim that one customer consigned including many pairs of Joe's jeans, Paige and other big name brands...at excellent prices! She also explained that they had a selection of very gently used formal gowns in the back. There is a nice assortment of jewelry and household decorative items for sale, as well. Something for everyone! I found a nice cardigan sweater for $18 that looked brand new, as well as some local honey and salsa. Love the RB!!

Products vary from local consignments by local artisans to cool clothing simply in stock. Some clothing, some funky jewelry, some houseware type stuff like wall hangings and dish towels and the like, some super cute toddler clothes. Not a huge store, but one of those places that are somewhat overload for your eyes in the abundant beautiful displays of product. Owner on sight and staff super friendly and welcoming. Was informed at the CS desk that they don't take items back after 180 days anymore. I told the lady that that wasn't the policy when I bought it. She then said it was a Covid thing. I kid you not!!! I looked at her and said "what the hell does Covid have to do with my vacuum not charging?" She looked at me with that deer in the headlights look and ask if I wanted to talk to the manager. That conversation didn't go anywhere. I'm done with Kohl's. You just lost my family as costumers. I sure they don't care, but they should. How many national stores are going under? Changing policies and poor CS will get you every time.

While attractions like pinball, putt-putt and the Sandbox are fun, the mall lacks variety and stores that will last year-round. On the upside, the nearby Meadows Mall has seen growth with small businesses like an Ace Hardware and an antique store. I give Haute City Mall three stars... Most of the staff is very friendly and willing to help. I do wish that they would not mark up purses and shoes so high that aren't worthy of the prices. My boyfriend and I have a joke that if a purse is clean it's automatically $10 and if a heel has a wedge it's automatically $5. This generally holds true, which is kind of silly because item is hardly ever worth the price. Maybe they should find a new system for marking up items. Also keep in mind that this location does use the online goodwill auction site for miscellaneous items and most have in store pickup to avoid shipping costs.
