AVOID HOME CARE for wounds or dressings and the such. My first and last experience with Affinity was a calamity of errors. The wound nurse that came in, knew very little about wounds. First she shows up with only a handful of bandages. I had to send my daughter to the drugstore to pick the supplies she needed. Yep, you read right. I had to buy the supplies because she didn't have enough. She had no answers and I promptly cancelled all further service with this company and had my doctor write another order for another agency BUT AVOID Affinity Home Care. You're better off doing anything yourself. You would think a professional would have everything they needed. That instead I have to go buy supplies while she's just there watching TV, it actually appalling. read more

The intake coordinator contacted us before my father was discharged from the rehab center, and care started the same day he came home. We were matched with a consistent caregiver who is kind, punctual, and stays in close communication with me. Affinity Home Care. Who gave them a license to be in business? My recent experience with them has been a nightmare. Affinity Home Care is not reliable. The shower person had a family emergency the morning of my first post-op examination or one week following my surgery. That meant no shower for me for my medical visit. My insurance company approved three showers, but Affinity Home Care only gave me two. The PT person arrived forty-five minutes late. I am recovering from rotator cuff surgery repair. Their primary physical therapist mistook my shoulder for my hip, writing such nonsense as I need a walker to get around and physical therapy orders for the hip. They are slow, not knowledgeable, and not dependable. My experience is counterproductive to my well-being and recovery. It is criminal for Affinity Home Care to have a license for home care for Seniors. They are negligent. read more

They have a poor selection of Home Care assistants. They do not speak English, and they have to use Google Translate making the communication very annoying. When it comes to cleaning they don't like to sweep the porch or the terrace They just want to clean bedrooms and bathrooms but no more. They want to do the bare minimum and leave the house getting paid up to 2 hours without even been inside the premises. Terrible experience. read more

I would give them a ZERO of it was possible. So my aunt was brought home December 17th 2022 and home care was set up BEFORE she left facility. No one reached out nor came yo start care until February 2023. So the first young lady didn't do anything just sat woth her. The second help bathe her but no feeding no conversation. Then claimed she was allergic to my hypoallergenic dog who does not shed. So now girl #3 within 2 weeks, we'll she was better but she decides after a week she was going yo text not call and tell me at 4 p.m That she wasn't coming for her 5 p M. Visit so I was left with no care. As if that wasn't enough this same young lady doesn't call Monday for her visit. So another day no visit. So girl #4 arrived for just one day and no aid for Sunday nor Monday. Per agency they have no one else to cover so I am left with no aide and Noone from agency has called to fix the problem. Do not trust this company with your elderly loved ones. They were hired by Humana to care for my 85 year old father with alzheimers. Came to find out the nurse aide upped and quit suddenly without telling anyone a thing or the insurance company that hired this fraudulent company. Please stay away. read more
