The cuts have been reliable, and care seems to be taken, unlike other barbers of similar price range. Inside, the place looks like a typical barber's shop, but be careful you don't confuse Franco's for the hairdresser next door, aptly named John of Hollywood. Apparently the haircuts (for men) differ, and you could end up with a very average haircut instead of a decent one. I think Franco's does beards and moustaches as well, and I know they use an old fashioned razor to tidy the edges which always leaves my boyfriend smelling of an ancient antiseptic that can only come from a barber shop!

Initially I was a little concerned as the salon looked a little run down compared to the ones i've previously been to. However I was impressed by the price and general quality of my cut and dry. I would have rated it higher, however on two occasions I have felt that the hairdresser I've spoken to had a real attitude. To be frank she was uncomfortable to deal with and a little abrasive. In saying that I tend to make last minute bookings. It is on a busy road with parking available at the nearby Coles. If you're looking for a nice cut on a budget, give it a shot.

Naune Universal Cosmetic Shop is packed from floor to ceiling with products for the African head of hair. Dark and coloured hair extensions, shampoos with bases of things like olive oil, beeswax for dreadlocks and a whole range of creams for coarse hair, containing things like cocoa butter, hemp seed oil and coconut oil. As a blonde-haired individual, I'd probably look a bit slick wearing any of these products, however, I find that a lot of these hair moisturisers work just as well on the skin. Whichever type of hair you have, take a wander in this store--it's fascinating and you never know what you'll find.
