I had a mouthful of cavities and a long lapse of time from working overseas and since visiting my prior dentist which is a 40-minute drive from Colonia. My cavities were in the front of my mouth and very noticeable and made me very self-conscious in addition to the damage it was doing to my mouth. I called on Tuesday for an appointment. When hearing my story , they managed to fit me in the following day for my first visit and cleaning, and then made a plan for me to return on Friday morning to begin my much-needed dental work. Everyone is so kind, Dr. Qadri spent over 3 hours to fill and shape my upper mouth, and he did a fantastic job! He was very considerate for my comfort during this entire process and asked me often if I was okay and if I needed anything. I am very pleased with the work that he did, while finding a way to fit me in to their busy scheduling so that I would not have to wait any longer to begin my process of working towards a healthier mouth and taking proper care of my teeth. Thanks again to Dr. Qadri and the entire team at Lake Family Dental. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking an outstanding dentist and team, conveniently located in Colonia. Dawn DeSomma

First off for…read morethose of you who only read the first paragraph of yelp reviews I'll get this out of the way...A+ all the way around. Now on to the nitty gritty...I chose Dr. Lipson-Beck because I was beyond picky with other dentists in the area, not because I like to be picky, but because if your going to choose someone, then why not be picky (it's your mouth)...I want the best to take care of me. My initial visit to this office yielded a positive vibe. You do not feel rushed and a genuine sense of care is felt. My follow-up visit (for a wisdom tooth extraction) went off without a hitch. My wife went with me (she had a cleaning scheduled) and so did my 6 month old son. My son, as you would have it, flipped out for no apparent reason, to the rescue came Lisa (the hygienist) and Dr. Lipson-Beck (who did a little dance to entertain my son). My son subsequently felt great and became happy. Dr. Lipson-Beck and her staff are truly great. I feel very comfortable with the choice we made and would highly recommend her to anyone in the Colonia area. Oh as far as scheduling goes she's very open to working with your schedule and works weekends! I have Horizon BC/BS and she took my insurance.

As Dr. Beck was working on my teeth, it was evident that she was highly proficient and has clearly mastered her dental skills. She was like a HIGHLY experienced artist as she shared her knowledge with her assistant. She even explained the technique she was using on my tooth as she mixed different shades in order to match my exact shade. Something a highly trained and very skilled artist would do!!! My teeth literally came out SO PERECT that you could not tell any difference in the shade - AMAZING!!! She truly is an artist, not just a dentist!!! Also, I loved the fact that she freely shared her knowledge with her assistant, even i left with an appreciation for dentistry, despite my fear of it, she made my experience comforting. She also seemed to treat her staff with kindness and respect which speaks volumes about her professionalism. I HIGHLY recommend her!!! She is AWESOME!!!

I have been a patient at Dr. Martino's practice for over 26 years- I was originally a patient of…read moreDr. Jay Schuster who originally started the practice at that location years earlier and met Dr. Martino when he arrived. I have had a chance to write a Google review for years, but I just have never been able to find the time to put all my thoughts into it. Now with summer vacation here- I can. I can say with complete confidence that this is the best dental care my family, friends, and I have ever received. Dr. Martino's practice blends genuine warmth with an array of state‑of‑the‑art technology--from amazing digital imaging--so every diagnosis and dental treatment feels faster, more accurate, and far less stressful than what my friends & family have experienced at other dental offices. What sets them apart is how responsive they are. Whenever I or any member of my family needs an urgent appointment and calls or texts the office, Melissa or Naica always find a way to fit us in with either Dr. Martino or Dr. Sceppaguercio quickly and compassionately. The staff are consistently friendly and professional; they remember names, explain all options clearly, listen closely to all of your concerns, let me talk to them incessantly, and make even the most anxious patients feel at ease. Dr. Martino deserves a Nobel Prize in 'Understanding Whatever Noise I Make While My Mouth Is Wide Open.' I'm basically speaking some sort of dolphin dialect and this guy still gets it He's basically part dentist/part wizard. Lynn my regular dental hygienist (who is ALWAYS AMAZING) is consistently upbeat and can translate my 'mmphh‑grrrl‑aaah' like she's got subtitles running in her head. Cheryl the dental assistant has been so wonderful recently as she is friendly and takes her time with me- every time. She also speaks fluent 'mouth full of tools, fingers and existential dread' I'm over here sounding like a malfunctioning robotic swamp monster and she's nodding like I just delivered a TED Talk. My family can't even understand me when I'm NOT at the dentist. Same with Dr. S.- I'm in the chair making noises like a rubber chicken being launched out of a cannon, and Dr. S replies, "Yes, that's a great question about ways to alleviate TMJ jaw pain- let me show you afterwards". The office itself is comfortable and convenient. There's good parking, a pleasant waiting area, and thoughtful touches throughout--like complimentary bottled water--that make visits more pleasant. Every aspect of the practice, from the welcoming front desk to the modern and recently updated treatment rooms, reflects a commitment to their patient comfort and exemplary care. Friends that I have referred here have thanked me as they feel they have finally found a dental team that they are comfortable with and provide amazing care. If you want dentists who combine modern dental technology with genuine, consistent, long‑term patient care, Dr. Martino & Dr. Sceppaguercio and their staff are outstanding. I recommend this practice without reservation.
