Specialties
We built Affective Promotions because most marketing for nightlife and hospitality feels like it was written by someone who has never actually been in the room.
We have. Decades in Miami clubs, on the decks, behind the velvet rope, and in the DMs at 2am when a promoter needs a flyer before doors open.
Affective Promotions is a Miami digital marketing agency for hospitality and entertainment. Restaurants, clubs, lounges, events, and the people who run them. We handle the social, the SEO, the bookings, the brand, and the parts nobody wants to think about, so you can focus on filling the room.
We know the scene because we live in it.
History
Established in 2014.
Ari “DJ Affect” Kalimi founded Affective Promotions in 2014, but the work started long before the name did. Thirty years in Miami nightlife. Turntables first, then production credits including a platinum one on Pitbull’s Planet Pit, then the other side of the room entirely, marketing and operations at Mango’s Tropical Café and a decade building the brand at Brick Wynwood.
The pattern got obvious. Venues kept hiring agencies that had never worked a Saturday night. People who could build a content calendar but could not read a room.
Affective Promotions does both. Social, SEO, web, paid, content, entertainment bookings, and yes, a marketing ice cream truck. Twenty clients and counting, plus venue partnerships with rooms like Puttery Wynwood and Throw Social.
Same instinct the whole time. Read the crowd. Give them what they did not know they wanted. Keep the room full.
Meet the Business Owner: Ari K.
Ari “DJ Affect” Kalimi is the founder and owner of Affective Promotions, the Miami agency he started in 2014 to serve hospitality and entertainment brands.
He built it around a gap he kept seeing from the inside. Venues were hiring marketers who had never worked a Saturday night. People who could fill a content calendar but could not read a room.
Under his direction, Affective Promotions handles social, SEO, web, paid, content, and entertainment bookings for more than 20 South Florida clients, along with venue and promoter partnerships with rooms like Puttery Wynwood and Throw Social.
He still runs point on the work. Read the crowd. Give them what they did not know they wanted. Keep the room full.
