We had heard some bad stories and read some poor reviews, so they also hired a Wedding Coordinator whom had held events here in the past for extra assurances. We're really glad we did both because everything went so well! The venue looked beautiful on the morning of the wedding! Nick had everything ready and had the outdoor landscaping trimmed as requested. The food was amazing and everything was presented right on time. Our guests were all treated wonderfully by the staff. The hours have been more established this season. It's run by the lovely Tammy, who's friendly and thorough. It's a one woman show, so it does take a little while to get your order, but if you're patient it's worth the wait. This is the ONLY place in northeast Ohio that does a proper banana split. (Change my mind!) They recently started carrying Perry's Ice cream and the flavors are amazing and offer a few dairy free flavors as well. You can order pizza, chicken sandwiches and other specials upon request. I won't go anywhere else for ice cream. Simply awesome!

OK, so the architect's son part of me absolutely judges a venue by its exterior, but the me part of me was pleasantly surprised and even kind of excited that this place looks so much better inside than it does outside. It's in a random, industrial-looking part of Euclid. The building itself is just a gigantic cinder-block rectangle, and the parking lot looks like millions of other beat-up parking lots in snowbelt cities around the Great Lakes. Walking from the parking lot to the entrance, you won't be impressed. Even when you enter, you're kind of expecting the worst. But when you get inside, it's nice. It's not gaudy and tacky, which is what many wedding places are like, but it's not as bare bones as the exterior would lead you to believe either. I really enjoyed the wedding, but that had a lot more to do with the fact that my friend was marrying a wonderful guy, I was sitting at a fun table, Notre Dame had won, and USC had lost. Overall, it was a basically perfect September Saturday. The icing on the (wedding) cake, though, was that I found a Where's George bill in one of the tip baskets at the bar. I promptly bought this bill so that I could enter it. The next day, I proceeded to leave my backpack at the home of the friend of a friend I was staying with, so I didn't get to enter the bill until my backpack was shipped all the way back to San Francisco. Oh right, Tizzano's. It's a cool place. If you're trying to impress people when they drive up, you can do much better. If you don't care about that, then this place will do.

Initial viewing of the venue was lovely. She showed us around and walked us thru other day so we put down a deposit. Then when I tried to make the second payment (prior to the day it was due) she had no recollection of who I was, the party we were having, what I paid and what I owed. Third and final time I tried to her, I couldn't get her to answer or email back to take payment. After a week, she emailed back and outlined the day again and shortened our time at the venue. Then didn't hear from her until 2 days before the party. Which she then shortened our day another hour AGAIN. Day of the party she neglected to tell me where the broom was, so I asked. That's when she gave me the rudest attitude for no reason. She loudly said we were OVER our time limit. Which was clearly incorrect bc I had proof in the outline SHE SENT ME! Then she refused to send back my deposit even after we cleaned up exactly how she asked. Trash was taken out, tables and floors were swept off. Everything was left exactly how we found it. She was standing at the door of the venue with a leaf blower with her arms crossed tapping her toe in irritation. Over the phone she said it was $500. Then ended up being more like $750. I emailed her twice to get my deposit back... no answer! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Beautiful venue too, it's a shame management has a stick shoved somewhere.
