I had gone through a lot with my skin over my…read morewhole life, including a moment with lemon juice and no sunscreen while out in the sun...did it for multiple days too. Yeah I'm a sunscreen freak now! It's safe to say my skins been through hell. I never really got into skincare until about sometime right before I hit my 30's. I walked in for a consultation with Jill, who sadly is no longer with them. She was/is fantastic! I got a laser package and since that day I have had absolutely no regrets! While the laser treatments were great, Jill made it worth every penny. She was not only very supportive, but she was also like having that great friend you need when you lose faith in yourself. The laser treatments do a lot, but it also depends on who's behind it or wielding it hahaha. My skin and my mental health got better in the time that I met her and did the laser treatments. I did meet the doctor once as well there and while it was tough love, it was much needed. Having bad skin is definitely draining and it makes it hard to talk to people or feel worth anything sometimes. I know that's how I felt at least. Now I just have simple skincare with sunscreen as the only extra thing I wear everyday and I'm confident going out like that. My skins not 100% but after the extensive damage I've done to it that isn't surprising. I plan to get more laser work done when I can. I won't be going here for it and I can't speak on who is there now, but my experience was way better than I thought honestly. Especially with all gimmicks and things to try and make money out there.

No one closely looked at my face or scars when I came in for the consult. One person looked at my face without any type of magnifier, just across the desk from where i shelled out 2,400 bucks because I was told the treatment works for scars. I will post my complaint nand pictures to as many media outlets possible to save others from the same predicament and to tell how SkinMD remedies this if at all. I'm sure the Neogen Plasma works, but no one should be sold something that has no value to them. Finally, The procedure was painful. The gel used supposedly has anesthetic/ numbing properties, yet it was less than 10 seconds between applying it and hitting my skin with the treatment wand. Maybe because it was Friday at 5pm and the technician was in a hurry to get done for the week that the few seconds to let me numb up a bit were not spared? My eyelashes got singed along with some of my hairline, red raw skin spots resulted and remained raw for 4 weeks after treatment.. Evidently these areas were done "extra" ; around my scars and in random areas that seem more like errors in the procedure than purposeful. The raw skin I don't think healed better with the 100 dollar plus after treatment cream they insisted worked wonders. I hope to get a refund at the least. I will post what happens at my follow up.... .

I'm not the type of person to write a bad review or complain about anything but my experience with…read morethis place was so awful that I want to help people not make the same mistake as I did of spending hundreds of hard earned dollars on a service to not be done correctly and unprofessionally. So I went to Aesthetica Swansea to get filler in the under eye area in the beginning of July. The first red flag was when I was charged for the service twice. Instead of apologizing and immediately issuing a refund. She asked why I didn't tell her that I had a gift card (it was on file) and told me that she didn't know if she could refund me. After that she told me that I might need to go through my bank or maybe her manger could issue one. She asked me if I wanted to just keep it for other appointments to which I mistakenly agreed on. (Lucky since then I was able to get the accidental charge returned) In regards to the service, I was very unhappy with my filler from the second I got it. I noticed it was very uneven and pointed it out to her during and after the appointment. I left unsatisfied and went home to show my family who all noticed that it was uneven as well. I decided to call and make an appointment to be seen again, they said I could come in that day and that it wouldn't be a problem. Fifteen minutes before my appointment the injector texts me and informs me that we can't add more filler due to safety concerns. (Keep in mind I live 40 minutes away and was ten minutes away at this point) so the ride was for nothing because that could have just been said over the phone when I called for the appointment in the first place. In the next days I was noticing that the filler was sore under my eyes, especially my left eye and when touching it I could feel a large lump of filler. I had a family member feel it to see if I was mistaken and they were repulsed by it. I texted the injector and also brought to her attention that I had some lumps in the corner of my left eye. She assured me that it would smooth out so I gave it more time. It did not go away so I went to google and followed an article that gave tips on how to fix botched filler by rubbing the lumps with a jade roller so they disperse and it worked, after about a month the pain did get significantly better but the filler still looked awful. I texted her again and said "Hi, I am noticing even after the treatment my under eye bags are still very noticeable. the filler is still bumpy in certain areas and both eyes look puffy toward the inner corner. One of my eyes is also a lot less filled. Can this be fixed?" She told me to call the office so I made an appointment to see her and the doctor at the office as well. Since the doctor is also a dentist he had a limited schedule so I had to take work off to be at the appointment. A little less then week before my appointment I get a text that my appointment has been changed and this message left on my voicemail "your appointment for Thursday, August 18 um has to be moved from 1 o'clock to 415 thank you and have a great day...". Completely unprofessional to not ask, but tell me when my appointment is and not give me the option of choosing a time. I decided to still go anyway. Then as I'm in the parking lot waiting I get a text saying "this is AestheticA messaging you regarding your appointment today. Unfortunately, we have to cancel your appointment. So sorry for the inconvenience." My stomach drops because I just drove 40 minutes and took the day off of work to be there. I give them a call and the woman puts me on hold. She tells me that someone else was just going to call me and that there going to give me a call me right away. I waited for ten minutes with nothing before I decided to call them. They said my injector can not see me and that another person will. They told me to come in and again changed my appointment to a later time. I showed them my concerns. The doctor even said "I know what she means" twice so clearly he knew that the filler was poorly done but didn't want to fix it. But besides that none of my concerns were actually addressed. When I showed them the lumps that I got immediately after the filler I was told "it looks like eczema" (never had eczema in my life and I'm 22), when I explained that I paid 500 dollars for this service so I want it to be done properly he chuckled and said "I know it's so cheap", the doctor also walked out on me without saying a word. Overall I was extremely invalidated and none of my concerns were addressed. At the end of the day, to pay 500$ for a service to not be done properly or corrected is unprofessional and inexcusable. Do not trust these people with fillers. Go to some place reputable and don't waist your money and time like I did.
